The Queen Hotel

The location of the hotel is great as the metro station can be reached with a short walk. The rooms were fine. It seems like they have been renovated recently. However, during our stay, there was no water available in toilets at night, which was bizzare - so we were not able to shower after a long day of sightseeing or even brush teeth at night. The worst thing was that there was no advanced notice on this, and the hotel staff made zero effort to provide alternative solutions. My 5-year-old was covered with soap with no water to clean, and the guy from the reception was like, "What can I do? There is no water in the whole area. ". This was not a one-off issue. This problem occurred on all 3 nights we were there. There was no apology from the hotel either - the situation was handled poorly. Also, there was no room service provided, so the rooms were not cleaned daily. The staff spoke limited english, which also made the communication a bit difficult at times. No parking is available at the hotel, so we had to park nearby and pay around 350 Lira/day - it's something to bear in mind, but this would be the case everywhere in Istanbul.

The Queen Hotel has a perfect location, super friendly stuff, average prices. It's not that type of hotels for luxury housing but you have all essential amenities and everything enough.

The hotel is okay, looks better on picture, but it is okay for the price. It is very central and easy go to Sultan Ahmet, the Bazar, gala and taksim with Subway and train.

It’s a small and old building close to the Istanbul university metro. It’s about a 20 min walk from all attractions. Location is fine. Not a comfortable stay though. The rooms are very small and bathroom is smaller. I would expect to pay a lot less than what I paid for these rooms.

Manager is so rude, they cancelled our comfirned reservation to rent others in higher price

The hotel is completely new. Great rooms, nice staff, very good location, cafe restaurant belonging to the hotel, very good food, walking distance to everywhere, metro and tram next to the hotel. Thanks for everything

Good hotel reasonably priced

The worst hotel I have ever been in! I just don’t understand all these reviews. Rooms are very very dirty. If you want someone’s black hair all around the room, dust and so on- then it’s a right choice. Rooms are very dirty, a lot of hair everywhere. The bathroom is awful. What about breakfast- it is also awful, you can eat only cucumbers, cheese and bread. Everything else on breakfast is not for healthy people. I suppose the hotel forgot that it works for PEOPLE. What’s more- it’s impossible to sleep there because there are light in the room all the night! Some light is shining all the night in the window!
