A fantastic boutique hotel. Small and very personal. Very convenient location. Staff are all amazing. Fantastic restaurant tips (Michelin star standard all walking distance). Hotel is very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is great and the cappuccino (s) amazing. For a business or leisure trip I highly recommend. My Birthday cake from the hotel was chocolate heaven. We will be back…..

The Witt is conveniently located 5 minutes walk from Tophane tram station which gives easy accessibility to all the main tourist sights in Sultanahmet and the Dolmabahçe Palace. It is a steep walk though, but easily doable. It's in the more modern side (Beyoglu) so has more "local" shops and restaurants nearby, vs Sultanahmet which is much more touristy. We had the penthouse suite which was a good size and had a fantastic view of the city. Breakfast at the hotel was generous and delicious. The staff were all warm and friendly and happy to help with booking requests. We also used the hotel's transfers to and from the airport, which were very smooth and pleasant.

Our second time at the same place. Very nice and interesting small boutique hotel. Very nice and professional staff. The location is perfect and whole area is very interesting. Many good places near by. The hotel owner is very lovely person and makes beautiful ceeamics which you can use at breakfast. We will go again@

We stayed at the Witt suites for 4 nights earlier this month and we would highly recommend this property. From the very helpful staff, especially Ozan, who was not only very helpful but also a great conversationalist, to the very spacious suite, we could not fault the hotel. It has a very generous breakfast and the decor is very tasteful and modern, especially the full length mural in the loft shaft that covers 7 floors. Also, there is a nice relaxing roof terrace with a wonderful view. The location is great for getting around Istanbul and there was always a warm welcome on return. It is also close to some great restaurants and bars. All in all a great place to stay and we would certainly stay again if we return to Istanbul.

We spent the last week of September here, our first time in Istanbul. The hotel, while indeed up a steep hill from the tram stop, was a fantastic oasis. The neighborhood was full of locals and small restaurants & shops, quieter than the other more touristy side of the city, but also still quite convenient. Our room was spacious and well decorated and had incredible city views from the 4th floor. The bed was comfortable and bathroom well outfitted and we enjoyed having a living room space to relax after a long day of walking. Perhaps the best thing here was the really vast breakfast offerings which started every day out great. The people working at breakfast were kind and welcoming and the small size of the hotel really made a difference. Highly recommended!

We spent 8 glorious days in Istanbul where our penthouse room at The Witt Hotel added meaningfully and positively to our entire experience. It was such a joy to return home each day and enter this spacious room with its fabulous look-out over some of the most exciting views Istanbul can offer. We looked at a few of their other rooms at this small hotel and they were all excellent and attractive, but the penthouse was truly special and made our longer than average stay much more pleasurable. The staff at The Witt are all totally attentive, each one of them is on top of their game in a most friendly way, and they all pay proper attention to the tiniest details that can make their guests visit the best it can be. It’s a great team. The breakfasts were superb, if like us you prefer an ‘at home’ and wholesome experience. We like that approach. The area is a really nice area to stay in, and although mini-hills need to be traversed all over the city, the Witt is close to the shore and only a modest way up from water level. It is also near many super restaurants, enticing shopping areas and delightful hammams. The hotels recommendations were all worth following. In a resume like this I suppose it is necessary to mention that the place is spotlessly clean, and the housekeeping staff achieved a straight 10. To the point: If one wants a truly wonderful homecoming to your room each day then ‘The Witt’ provides it, and the main penthouse will elevate that to a totally delightful stay. Ron & Jo

Witt Istanbul suites We booked this place as it was recommended by my brother and it lived up to every expectation . It is situated in the Cihangir area of Istanbul and is very close to the Tophane tram station . The immediate feeling u get when u enter the place is one of elegance. The staff are very helpful and pleasing . Anil booked the Basilian cisterns trip for us and also managed to get us a booking into the Cukurcuma hammam which is about an 8 min walk from there ( qn experience not yo be missed ). The rooms are spacious and minimalistic . They have a mini bar , a kitchenette, and a Bluetooth speaker , so u can enjoy your music . The bathrooms are lined with marble , to replicate the feeling that u are in a hammam. The toiletries are amazing and an additional touch of luxury . The breakfast spread has a mix of organic spreads , home made bread , traditional baking, cold meats and hot eggs of your choice . Getting to and from the town centre is very easy and the staff will help with any questions u have . The rooftop view is spectacular . The area around the hotel also has many cute little cafés and restaurants . On the whole , we had a fantastic stay at the Witt suites and I would highly recommend it !
