Sirin HAN Hotel Old City

We are on the border with the overpriced hostel here. Certainly the place is well located for visiting Istanbul. The staff is nice and smiling but often quite confused. The room, rudimentary, is clean. What remains of the mattress is very uncomfortable unless you like to sleep on the very hard one. The reservation sites mention that it is a non-smoking hotel. It's wrong. The smell of cigarettes is common in the building and the room. When this is mentioned, the staff tells you that it is normal and that it is allowed in the establishment. We'll have to deal with it. The room will only have been cleaned once in 4 days, like in a hostel. - It is also not very soundproof. We quickly get to know the first names and habits of the family of four who live one floor above. Oh yes, please note that if you take the “with breakfast” option, this breakfast is not served in the establishment. You have to go get it at a small counter two blocks away, there is only one (1) choice (correct but redundant by the 4th morning) and you have to pay if you want a coffee. It is not understood. Advice to the establishment: take more time to resolve these issues repeatedly highlighted in previous comments than to respond here with something tasteless and preformatted. Advice to travelers: move on, Istanbul has better and less tasteless things to offer for the same price as this establishment.

We were unable to stay in the hotel until the end of our vacation - in room 403, where we were placed, there is no soundproofing and you can clearly hear everything that is happening on the street, where it was quiet at night for only 3 hours after midnight. I emphasize: any noise, people talking, a cleaning machine, and especially the call to prayer can be heard as if you were right there on the street in the thick of things; closed windows do not help at all. The completely uncomfortable bed and pillows added to the negative factor. Because of this, it is simply impossible to sleep; in the morning we were absolutely exhausted after a sleepless night, so we went to another hotel and used this one as a daytime resting place since, of course, it was impossible to get our money back. Breakfast also leaves much to be desired. The staff could not help in this situation. Essentially: the hotel is after renovation, the room is cozy, there is no elevator, but we were ready for it. It was not possible to fully appreciate the hospitality and quality of service; overall, I do not recommend it.

En realidad no es un Hotel , no hay elevador y los baños muy reducidos , quizás para una pareja joven está bien en cuanto a la localización es excelente y la persona que atienden trata de ayudar.

Pesimo hotel incluso llegamos un dia y estaba la habitacion por arreglar, camas, basura por sacar, balo por hacer, pesimo y mas pesimo. Nos dijeron tercer piso y fue el cuato, el baño goteaba se salia la pila por el desague. No entiendo como se ofrece en esta pagina. No volveria ni regalado. El día que no estaba hecha la habitacion ecima se rien y no son papaces de pedir disculpas. Mas que pesimo, verguenza.
