Hilton Garden Inn Jackson Downtown Reviews

It was a nice and solid hotel, but the valet parking was really expensive when on street parking was free. The breakfast wasn't very good and not included. It seemed like being nickled and dimed when a hotel like this should include amenities. Also, room cleaning was every other day.

The valet parking guys are FANTASTIC..and the front desk personnel were awesome as well. Very friendly, welcoming, super place to check in to. Also the attached bar area has great service as well..they go above and beyond. The rooms are fine..its the staff here tho that make it great.

The shower was terrible I forgot to report it room 821 other than that it was good I love the bed

The hotel was clean and fresh; room was spotless, shower temp was hot like I like, and bed was perfect for a good nights rest

None of the pillows had pillow cases on them. We asked for them many times and said we would put them on just wanted them. Kept telling us they were washing some. Never got them. Had to call to get towels there were none in the room. Took 2 1/2 hours to get a burger and beer at the restaurant. Won’t stay at this Hilton again

The location was close to our event. Appears clean and the Valet is on point. Great service from them! Inside service was a different story… watching my friends check in compared to the service I received was polar opposites. They recorded information about the hotel and what is close by. While I received barely a word. No hygiene products in the room. Went down stairs to request them and they said they would bring them to my room… never received…

Front desk staff was very kind. Facility just wasn't as clean as I would have liked. No liquor license (not stated online), bar is advertised as open.

For the name and location, I was expecting better. My wife and two kids traveled with me. I booked a king suite; no linen was available for the couch bed for the kids or extra wash clothes. The room overall was decent.

The hotel seems as if it’s on its last leg. No spirits at the bar. (Bartenders were really sweet) and we got locked out of our room SEVERAL times. When we would go out and come back in, our key would not be working. This happened 4 times!!! They kept re keying our room. Then to make matters worse, the last time it happened, I went to. The room and back 3 times. Each time I had to go back down and let her know it didn’t work! Finally, she said she would have to change our room. But ma’am, our stuff is stuck in the old room. Basically they had to get security after an hour to let us in the old room casing us to miss our anniversary dinner reservation. I was so disappointed. No one knew what to do. I was very upset and feel like we were highly inconvenienced to have to change rooms. I feel like I should be refunded! I will not stay here again.

Room lights didn't work, shower door was missing the handle, bathroom smelled like they poured bleach everywhere, no parking so you're forced to use valet, and they charged me an extra $45 to my card and no explanation why.

We checked in on Friday night. We carried all of our things to our room. When we get there, someone else is in the room. We go back downstairs, and even though our name is in the computer, they said because we used *******, we double booked. I explained to them that I booked the room over a month ago, and that I called to confirm the reservation. We were told there was no other room available. We found out there was a couple of other people having this same issue. It was late at night. We were hungry, tired and the only reason I booked this hotel was due to the indoor swimming pool, which of course we were unable to use. The only good thing is that the woman helping us, booked us another room at a different hotel using her discount. We have to stay in hotels about once a month for the next few months for my granddaughter’s cheer competitions and now I am reluctant to book with Hilton.

Great stay, great location, and friendly staff. Will definitely come back

Our room was dirty. We requested to have it cleaned and they told us we would need to request it a day early. Which how could we when it was dirty when we got there. Asked for more towels and they never brought us any. They wouldnt empty our garbage cans

The room was decent for the price, but they only offered valet parking though there could have been plenty of self parking - and they charged $22 a night.
