酒店位置極佳，正對天街，附近有挹翠湖、毛主席舊居、火炬廣場、博物館，遊玩方便，去遊客中心坐公交車也很近，購物、吃飯都方便。缺點是：早餐一般，品種少，勉強吃個飽；停車也不是很方便。
