When we arrived, my husband asked if he could use the toilet. The owner said " you can but be quick, I have an appointment". His manner was very abrupt and he made it clear that we were a nuisance. Later on we asked if he had the wifi code. He barked that it was on a plaque behind the door. Unfortunately, it was not. We met with another guest who had been told the same thing. We eventually got the wifi code from another guest. We all agreed that the owner was very adversarial. It is not acceptable to speak with guests in this manner. It was a shame as the room was quite lovely and well appointed. We met the other owner the following day who was very polite and friendly. The other owner needs to be kept in the background as he is affecting the business.

Worst experience of my life at the hotel reception. We have booked a room with breakfast. We went to have breakfast the next moorning at the repcepcionist told us that in the system it didnt appeared. I have shoen him our booking… and he said that he couldnt do anything since the system was wrong. We were with a little child of 1 year and we had to try to find a place to habe breakfast as the man didnt want to help us. Please, never go to this place.

We stayed for a couple of nights and were very impressed with the standard. The bedroom we stayed in was massive and very comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable and a good night’s sleep was had by everyone. The continental breakfast in the morning was superb, with a very good choice of everything. If we come to this area again, I would book this hotel again in an instant. Well done to the owners!

Visited this hotel for four nights during Xmas and new year .We had a wonderful stay hotel was spotless clean .beds where really comfortable .We stayed in a family apartment which sleeps six we stayed while visiting the local theme park it was great to come home to a warm comfortable large space afterwards.It is about a 15 min walk to the theme park with a few shops around the corner there is also a Lidi along the walk to the theme park which is handy to pick up some snacks .We visited Amsterdam for the day I spoke to the owners about heading on our day trip and he knocked with a print out of how to get there .this hotel is lovely friendly and warm the owners are really friendly and very helpful I will 100% stay here again if I return to the Netherlands the breakfast was lovely with a choice of pasties youguts breads and meats excellent stay

Perfect location for Efteling, large family suit is amazing. Big and very clean room, amazing breakfast and very friendship personnel. I prefer to stay here again if I come to this area again without doubt. My family is very happy with this choice.

Stunning historic building, beautifully done out and high spec, the kids were very impressed (for once!) Very handy for Efteling and good value, walking distance from many nice restaurants, we went to the Japanese place. Quiet and pretty town. Breakfast was really good, lots of options including gluten and dairy free, meat,veggie etc, kids loved the pastries. Owner was nice and happy to chat about the history of the building. We were so happy with our choice of hotel for our family weekend to Eftiling. We arrived on the Friday evening to a really spacious 2 bedroom apartment with living room, huge bathroom and kitchen. The hosts managed to organise to take us to the restaurant that we’d booked and back and made us all feel really well looked after. Nothing was too much for them, they even specially made me a cinnamon roll at breakfast. Our children (age 6 and almost 2) loved the spacious room and spent ages chasing each other around. We were there for eftiling and it was just a really short drive, the hotel also sold the parking tickets so made it really easy for us. As a gift they also gave our girls teddy’s when we left which they LOVE, great touch to a fantastic weekend. Thank you!

Our entire experience was tainted by the simple fact that no-one is at reception in the evenings. The whole place is locked and unless you have to go through a tedious online process to get a code, which then gives you a key, you are literally stranded and will not get into your room, even if pre-paid. If your phone is out of power or you hate email check-ins, beware. Car parking is very limited and you may have to park 5min walk away at a shopping centre.

Nonostante il check in autonomo all'arrivo siamo stati 'aggrediti' da un gestore o proprietario che sosteneva , a differenza di quanto previsto, che l'ingresso anticipato ci sarebbe costato 20 € in più, ma noi avevamo già la chiave e la stanza era pronta... abbozzo ed accetto questo assurdo balzello. Stanza tripla piccolissima, senza nessun armadio e solo una misera scrivania su cui ovviamente abbiamo appoggiato di tutto , mi piacerebbe sapere se le misure complessive consentano la presenza di 3 persone, ma ho seri dubbi. Illuminazione assolutamente insufficiente soprattutto nel bagno. Piccolo frigorifero mooltoo rumoroso. Pulizia rivedibile soprattutto nel vano doccia con presenza di muffa in vari punti. È stata la terza sosta del nostro soggiorno in Olanda , e devo dire la peggiore. Colazione sufficiente.. Ah alla fine i 20 € in più non me li hanno addebitati , ma devo notare un certo fastidio nei confronti degli italiani, forse ...
