Sotetsu Fresa Inn Hotels in Kamakura

I stayed at this hotel close to Kamakura Station this time on a day trip in Kamakura after a long time. The weather was good and I was looking forward to the next day's Kamakura walk. First of all, the entrance of the hotel was difficult to understand and left to right. The floor display of the elevator is difficult to understand. The construction is fashionable, but the moving line from the elevator to the front desk is bad and narrow. The target is young. Because it was a reservation in the prefectural people, I was asked to present a certificate of vaccination, but when I told him that I didn't bring it, it was said that it meant ”I can't stay without anything to prove” Because it is said that something can be proven, when I look for an email that came to the vaccine, I see a paper with a fluorescent marker on the sentence posted on the reservation site I just said, ”It's written here!” I found him angry at the attitude, but I came to Kamakura, and I didn't see the document because it was bad, and I was looking for an email by two people, and the staff came I came to say, ”I don't accept it, but I will respond only this time.” I came with Kachin! I checked in with a smile, saying, ”I'll be thankful.” I think there is a way of saying things as a customer service business, even if there is a mistake here. It was quite high pressure and I was sorry as a fellow to the way of saying things from the top and the attitude and expression of the eye. 鎌倉は十分に日帰りできる場所なのですが、ちょっと気分を替えたくて一泊してみました。このホテルの一番のウリはロケーションだと思います。JRと江ノ電の鎌倉駅から5分少々。メジャーな小町通りとは反対側の御成通り商店街沿いにあるので、周囲に飲食店や雑貨屋さんなど楽しいお店がある一方で、小町通りほど人通りが多くなく、静かで落ち着いた印象。由比ガ浜まで徒歩15分くらい、朝市（8時から）をやっている野菜市場からも近く、朝の散歩がおすすめです。 あまり期待していなかったけれども、大浴場が思ったよりも広く、人の少ない時間を狙って入ったので、ゆっくりできたのがとても良かったです。 良くなかった点としては、お部屋からの眺望が残念な感じだったこと。駅近くの商店街＆住宅街の中に建っているので当たり前なんですが、4階の部屋なら少しは周囲がみられるのでしょうか。自分が泊まったのは1階で、窓を開けると普通に道路に面していたので、カーテン替わりの障子を開けることはできず、昼間でもいつも薄暗いなと思いました。 また、ホテルのHPを見るとベッドが窓にぴったりくっついているレイアウトが多そうで、自分の部屋もそうだったのですが、これが寒かった...！ロールアップカーテンをおろしても冷気が窓から来て、その冷気がダイレクトに肩を冷やす...。エアコンよりも毛布をもう一枚欲しかったです。 部屋自体はコンパクトだけれど必要なものは揃っていて快適に過ごせますが、自分の満足度が低いのは恐らく1人で泊まったので料金の割高感が否めないせいかもしれません。このクラスのホテルで1泊1万8000円払って朝食なしって、少し前なら考えられなかった気がします。ホテル代上がりましたよね…。（朝食を別途お願いすると和定食or洋定食1600円ぐらい）鎌倉は全体的にホテル代が高いので仕方ないのかもしれません。次回泊まるかといえば、微妙。部屋の設備に不満はないけれども、料金に見合っているか？という点から考えると疑問なので、星は3つとさせていただきます。

Chose this place because of the price and the offer of Mount Fuji view. Certainly the view did not disappoint us, love the sea view and Mount Fuji. Room was spacious and the layout was nice though dated to some extent. The grounds looks like it need some sprucing and maintenance work. Checkin was efficient though parking came with a price. Maybe hotel should consider free parking for guests as most would be driving to get to this area. We ate at the Japanese restaurant though you had to walk in the rain on the day we were there as the restaurant was located on a annex building. Food was good and service was fine but on the higher end of prices. I like the neighbourhood vibe, there is a supermarket, hardware/pharmacy and bakery within walking distance from the hotel. There are a few restaurants by the beach and we tried the Pacific place. Prices of food along the beach are much more reasonable. Would stay here again except that traffic along this stretch of road is very bad as it is only a one lane road and traffic lights at almost every junction. Be prepare for a long and slow drive between hotel to town.

We stayed ２ nights in November 2020. The room we booked is standard twin [non-smoking] 34㎡. I had resistance to leisure to the far side using public transportation in the corona pass, so I booked this place which seems to be able to stay calmly in a relatively nearby place. As I saw in various reviews before my stay, the room is large and satisfied as expected. I think there are many people who don't like the inn that has been built years, but I like it because there are many cases of spacious rooms compared to the inn now. I entered the room and was relieved to see the view from the window. The sea just across the street. Fortunately, during my stay, the weather was good and I was able to enjoy the view from the window. Also, if you look at the balcony on the floor you are staying, this was also good 々. The location of the room is far from the sea, but I think it is color 々 depending on the location of the room, so the view from the room is not enough. I thought it would be good to see it from the balcony if I thought it was. Also, the making of the inn is interesting. I thought that I stayed in a western room, but the opposite side across the passage seemed to be a Japanese room type. In that case, breakfast was also available for western and Japanese food choices. ２ nights, so I asked １ times each. It may be a more lively atmosphere in summer, but it was November, and it was quiet and perfect for spending time. I also want to stay at the off-season. I thought.

When I first arrived at the hotel, I felt that the decoration is simple, stylish and generous, giving a very warm feeling. There is a communal kitchen and well-equipped facilities, which is very helpful to us. Like it! But in the end I wanted to store a box but said that I would charge 500 yen. Any other service that can be accommodated is free. This surprised us and has an unpleasant feeling.

The decoration is very Japanese-style hotel, the staff is very fun and very welcoming, there is a big supermarket nearby, Haagen-Dazs is only 203 yen! ! Awesome! The room is very clean and the atmosphere is very good. It is close to the bus stop but the tram stop has to go a long way. There is time to walk to the Canggu station and go out for a little while the beach.

The hotel is in the center of Kamakura, the lobby is on the 3rd floor, and there are shops below. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, making it easy to travel. Breakfast is at the Chinese restaurant B1 on the ground floor. There are three kinds of set meals to choose from, which tastes good.

The good thing is that access to Yuhigahama is good. Other word of mouth sites also have a lot of posts because the room is filthy, but when I entered the room to stay, a small bug flock occurred and I was surprised. The hand soap in the bathroom was really small, and I should replenish it ... It was acceptable until now, but the hotel, especially the manager's response, was not very unpleasant. Originally, this accident has doubled the reservation of the same day from ２ sites. When I contacted the hotel immediately when I noticed, I canceled one reservation because I was told that I would not receive the cancellation fee for that amount. However, I asked the hotel because the request came from the site that I said I would not take the cancellation fee, and I was told to ask the site by myself. After all, the hotel side did not take the procedure that the site did not take the fee. I was waiting because I couldn't refund through the card company at a time, so I contacted the hotel directly to refund. However, even if １ weeks wait, the contact did not come, and when I contacted from here, the corresponding staff told the boss to send this matter and send the phone, but １ weeks wait, the contact will not come. When I contacted the manager of the boss from here, he said, ”What is it?” and the story did not pass. I was surprised to hear that I was waiting for a phone call, but did I tell you the phone number? Even if you cut the phone without permission or take a confirmation of this matter and tell me what kind of response to the future, there is no contact even after １ hours. I can't connect to the manager again. It's impossible to be a manager. If I didn't contact you from here, I would never contact you, and I thought that I didn't solve it at all, and I was afraid of the dishonest attitude. I think I was struggling between the manager of the stance that received the cancellation fee as prescribed for whatever reason and the staff who tried to refund me with sympathy. Well, I first said that I would not take a cancellation fee. I appreciate that you responded to the refund, but the process until then was gudaghda, dishonest and surprised. I think it's good to stay for those who don't complain even if anything happens, but I think it's better to choose a different hotel.
