Chrispy Waterpark Resort - All Inclusive

We have just returned from a 10 day holiday to Chrispy from the UK and we had a wonderful time. We stayed in a family room which was maisonette style and was perfect for us as a family of 4. Nice room, great air con and a nice view of the top pool and the sea from the balcony. Staff constantly cleaning and generally working hard in the hotel. Everyone polite and helpful and everything was laid back, kids still playing in the pool at 9pm. . The waterpark and pools were great, and there was loads of activities for them to be involved with, even the teens were catered for. The entertainment team were all brilliant and really engaged with the kids and everyone without being over the top. Big thanks to Matt and the rest of the team. We enjoyed the food, good choice and there was always something if you didn’t fancy the choices available such as salads, pizzas and chips. Snack bar was great for gyros and fresh fruit throughout the day. Only negative for us was the alcohol wasn’t great, no rosè wine available and the red and white wine available wasn’t nice. Very basic choices. Cocktails not on til after 6pm and all tended to taste the same. But other than that we really had a great time, fantastic weather and it’s well worth getting the bus to Chania and Plantinas. We recommend for a family holiday.

It was one of the best holiday we had at Chrispy and my kids enjoyed the private pool, resort's amenities and the great variety of delicious food. I would like give 5 ⭐️ as well to all the staff who have worked extremely well during our 6 days stay. Thank you so much Chrispy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very low standards general. Food very basic, bland, Drinks selections very poor, even no lemon/lime for cocktails . Local alkohols 30%,luckily there is market in hotel so you can buy proper beer or Alkohol. Room dirty, mouldy mattres, awful bathrooms. Never again Holiday with TUI Poland

For what we paid (£2900 ish incl flights) for 2 adults and 3 children in July we could not fault this hotel. If you are looking for 5* then you need to expect 5* prices. This is definitely 4* family friendly great value hotel. Upon our early hours arrival the manager could not have been nicer. A lot of guests arrived of our shuttle bus and despite being busy, he offered to show us to our rooms and also said the restaurant was open for food and drinks should we require something since we arrived so late. We had the maisonette style family room-it was lovely. Immaculate, spacious with ample storage. The balcony was an adequate size with lovely views over the walkways between apartments. We were located next to the quieter pool which was only a minute walk from the main pool/restaurant area. We were asked upon arrival how often we would like our room cleaned from daily to every 3 days. We were also asked about any dietary/allergy info upon arrival. The maids worked hard all day and were very pleasant thus left rooms immaculate. We asked for extra pillows and were given with no issue. We only ate at the main restaurant and snack bar as there was such a vast choice of foods to cater for all requirements therefore we did not feel the need to book the a la carte restaurant. The ice cream was amazing and was served from 10am until 2300 which kept the kids happy. The snack bar was stocked from 1000-1800 with fresh fruit, salads, sandwiches, wraps which were self service in addition to served hot snacks such as fries, chicken nuggets/fish fingers and gyros. Fresh and quality food. Soft drinks were also available as self service. Restaurant staff were friendly and courteous. We liked the idea of reusable plastic cups throughout the hotel with many drop off stations throughout. Bar staff were friendly and helpful. The AI did stop at 2300 however you could pay for drinks between 2300 and 0000. There was kid’s’ entertainment on most evenings which our kids enjoyed although the pool was open until 2100 so they mainly played in there. 3 or 4 nights of our 7 nights there was greek dancing/music, local singers and a magician which was nice. We didn’t mind that there wasn’t entertainment on every night as we enjoyed our own company. The minimarket was situated underneath the hotel which stocked everything from food/drinks to pool shoes, towels, suncream, inflatables. Staff here were also friendly and helpful. Great choice of pools-main one was busy with shallower to deeper end, small baby pool next to main pool, splash pool with toddler slides and water sprays, main waterpark/slides which came into pool and then at the opposite end of hotel was a gorgeous pool that felt very exclusive with a self service snacks fridge and soft drinks machine. This was much quieter due to having no slides but beautiful. At this end of the hotel you could access the bua stop to Chania, there was also an ATM and supermarket, bakery and a few tavernas a couple minutes walk. Behin

I literally can't fault this hotel. We had an amazing time! We did have a room with a private pool attached to our terrace - so I do massively recommend that as we all spent so much time in the private pool. Our room was immaculate with daily maid service. There was loads of storage space, exceptionally comfy beds (and I'm normally really hard to please with beds and don't sleep well!) the bathroom was also huge and had two showers in there (one over bath shower and one cubicle shower). The water slides are so much fun, it is continuously manned by at least 2 lifeguards....only criticism would be that the lifeguards don't ensure a queuing system is in place so most people were using the inflatable rafters and then just hanging onto them and going on the slides again and again, meaning others were just stood there waiting for ages for an inflatable to use (rather than handing the inflatable to the next person in line and then re-joining the queue themselves). People very greedy and very rude! Couldn't fault the staff, they worked their butts off especially the canteen staff. Food was great with tons of variety, although the canteen was so busy all the time and again not really any queuing system, so you come across many greedy and rude people! The beach is a 2 minute walk and stunning! It's a pebbles beach which we prefer, there is also a lifeguard in a little hut watching over people in the sea and ensuring everyone is safe. Transfer was an hour. So perfect for families and children of all ages. Be sure to find the third smaller swimming pool - it's hidden away but much quieter and in a more peaceful setting. Toilets were always clean and well stocked with loo roll etc. Snacks were a huge bonus - continuous snacks throughout the day - hot and cold. Little wraps in boxes, containers of chopped up fruit, pizza, chips, salad bowls. All really lovely and you just help yourself from the fridge! Drinks also fab - help yourself. Coffee was a bit disappointing - standard coffee which wasn't great tasting but this really isn't much of a negative. Everything was just so very good. I actually think we would go back again and I never normally like to go to the same place twice. Book! I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Nice clean but basic hotel, we had a superior family room with private pool (well worth the extra) kids had a fab time.e in the slides and it did help making some lovely friends. The Wellness spa is a MUST! Maria and all the staff spend the time explaining the best treatments and the price was very reasonable, so much so we went back a 2nd time! If we did co.e back to this hotel it would only be for a short 3/4 night stay as nothing to do around the area. All in all a pleasant stay but glad we paid the extra for the upgraded rooms

Crowded, loud. The food was Good and the staff was friendly, but the atmosphere was stressful. Great pool-facilities and activities for children. The A-la carte restaurant was terrible. Roms okay. Will not come back.

Here’s our honest family review with 3 children of varying ages from toddler to teen. Arrived late at night & some food from dinner had been saved for us, however I had emailed the hotel prior to our arrival to state my daughter was gluten free (and got a response) however nothing had been plated up for her. Luckily one of the lovely restaurant staff made her a sandwich. Our room was a maisonette style family room which was so unsafe for a 2 year old. The stair gate was hanging off the wall making it more of a safety risk than there being nothing there at all. The stairs in the room were also very unsafe. There was no travel cot in the room upon arrival despite them knowing we had a 2 year old as apparently I hadn’t “asked for one” when booking?!…there were also no housemaids available at that time of the night so we had to do without until the following day. Room was extremely basic, which we don’t mind as we hardly spend any time in there on holiday, but it was clean, and was cleaned daily. Shower is a disaster zone as it sprays across the whole room and no shower curtain or screen, so bathroom gets flooded after every use. The pools were freezing but it didn’t bother my children at all and they had the best time in the pools and on the slides. Some rude people kept taking the inflatable rings that you need to use on the slides back to their sunbeds to reserve them for themselves but I did see the lifeguard constantly going and getting them back. Maybe a sign asking people not to reserve rings is needed? Also kids waiting for ages at the bottom of the slides for rings and people who had just been on kept hold of them and went straight back on, which seemed unfair on the kids waiting. This needs to be managed better. No lifeguard on big pool, only on water slides. The daytime activity programme is the same every single day, so gets a little boring. Felt sorry for the 4 members of staff running the whole daytime and evening entertainment programme alone, they worked very long hours relentlessly and were very young. Night time entertainment is poor and finishes early with nothing else to do after so we always had an early night. There are no other bars / restaurants nearby. The beach near the hotel was not nice. Would recommend getting the local bus to Agia Marina for a Sandy clean beach. The bus stop is right over the road from the hotel and we used this quite a lot. Very regular and cheap. Didn’t try and get taxis so can’t comment. Food was as to be expected with any all inclusive. It’s the usual set up. Lots of salads. Varying meats day to day. The snack bar was great and meant my hungry children were never without food. My daughter being coeliac is problematic on most holidays however staff couldn’t have been any more helpful. Happy to make her anything on request - bread, pancakes, pasta, pizza. Most food that’s out is well labelled for allergens also. Packed lunches available if you’re going out for the day. Myself and 2 younger children age 7 & 8 have just returned from Chrispy world and we had a lovely time. The hotel was perfect for our needs. The staff are very nice, helpful and will try to help in anyway they can. Our room was clean in a good location within the hotel grounds. Food was nice and plenty to pick from. For a 3 star hotel it was fab yes you can always find fault but I think by some reviews people are paying for a 3 star but expecting a 5 star hotel.
