Located along the River Kwai, the air is fresh. In the morning, waking up to the sounds of shady nature is very refreshing. The condition of the building, although it looks old, is not bad. Pung-Waan Resort is an old, very peaceful, spacious place to rest, located on the River Kwai. There are many rooms for tourists, seminars.
Complete basic facilities such as wifi, elevator, telephone, laundry service and many more.

It is a comfortable and quiet resort good for healing. The swimming pool is also cute.

Worst bed I've ever tried to sleep on. Been trying to sleep for 3 hours now with no success. The mattress is just two small hard mattresses on top of eachother, no springs, and no give whatsoever. My back is already killing me so god knows what it'll feel like in the morning.

The resort, I’m sure was once beautiful, it is now extremely run down, it genuinely felt as if it had been abandoned 20 years ago and they had just come back to open it up for us to stay. We were in a group of 10 and were the only guests in this vast, r7 down resort. The food wasn’t great, two of our group were very sick after eating the food, I suspect the hygiene wasn’t great. Such a disappointment as spending. Night in a raft house on the river Kwai was something we had looked forward to immensely.

Outlying and beautiful hotel. Decor a little outdated. Nice swimming pool but.... opening the beds, big stain in my husband's and lots of hair in mine... the sheets should not have been changed. yuck . As for the wifi...inaccessible and no hairdryer. Very disapointed.

Very nice place... Clean swimming pool... choice for lunch... Clean room but the bathroom should be reviewed... Limited kitchen on the other hand for the evening meal... No bar in the evening for have a drink... Hotel very far from the center... Wifi problem in the rooms

I can only agree with all the other bad reviews. Location is very nicely situated in nature (no facilities in the area). Rooms very old and not too fresh. Bed is apparently made of creaking concrete. Rooms are so noisy that you can just hear the neighbors talking 2 doors down. In short, not really recommended, a shame because it does have potential if it were modernized a bit
