Hotel Deutscher Hof

The hotel is in the middle of Kassel (Köningsplatz) and 10 minutes walk to the Documenta fifteen centre ruruHaus , Fridericianum museum and Documenta halle. Trams and busses nearby to all places. Friendly personal. The breakfast room was large and the breakfast buffet was very well a good start for exploring Kassel with all sort of bread, serials, fruit, drinks, coffee and sprudel wasser. My room was in the new part of the hotel. It had everything one can expect and – as an elderly person – i liked to have a shower. So that I do not have to climb into a bath to take a shower. I liked it also very much that I could dim the lights in the room and bathroom. And also that I could open the doors to the French balcony to let the fresh air in. Diner tip Go to ”al fiume”, italian restaurant at the Fulda. Excellent Italian food.

The location is very good, beside the train station, very close to the shopping mall City Point, and very close to the Municipal Plaza. It is very convenient to stay in the hotel. It is not recommended to buy breakfast at the hotel. Chinese people may not be comfortable with it, except that it is salty or salty. The accommodation environment is okay, don't have high expectations in a small city like Kassel, this one is pretty good. There is a Shandong restaurant 300m away from the hotel, which can be found on the public comment, and the taste is not bad. It is a good choice for missing Chinese food!

Friendly staff. nice, friendly room. The best is the comfortable mattress. Also the headbits super. The first hotel for a long time when I was standing up without back pain and tough neck. TV with many programmes. Continental breakfast buffet. Drink and snack machine. Automatic for coffee and supper. Afterwards quiet room. Apart from Hercules, beautiful morning and evening sky. I asked where to buy this wonderful mattress, unfortunately I didn't get a answer to my mail.

Ware business ”only to stay” here, arrived late, the nice lady at the reception stayed longer so we could all check in! The room was simple, but very good to air and heating. The bed was very comfortable, I have good slept, kiss was too thick to me, but that's always a view. At breakfast everything you need and expect was there; 2 varieties of egg food and a larger selection of cheese! The best I liked the nice lady in the service that cared very carefully and well for everyone! Concluded: a simple hotel in perfect location with friendly staff, what you want more! Dancing high :-)

The reception was very friendly. Since I had come something before the usual check in time, I was accompanied to the room. My room (No. 309) is behind, i.e. outside the street. Rooms and bathrooms are very spacious for a hotel of this class. All is there, refrigerator, water cooker (without tea or coffee) and a refrigerator. The bed is comfortable and not through. A small balcony has the room also. Other advantages: the local transport is directly in front of the door, so you can get well into the city center. All in all very recommended.

We stayed at this hotel 5 years ago, funky old building (the outlook east), but all the amenities: good bed, large room, great lobby, evening snack included, even a pool table. Well it's all gone, the mattress is beat, the bed frame makes noise, the room full of dust. I ended up putting the mattress on the floor and choked all night. They removed the frig from the rooms. There is no air conditioning, the street noise is serious. They have closed the lobby, no more evening snack, no place to hang out. The breakfast that was once ample and very good is now white bread, corn flakes and dried out scrambled eggs. The reception people are nice but no help, they struggle with any language other than German. $200 a night for what amounts to a dump. Avoid this place you can find better in Kassel for less than half the price.
