Kamenoi Hotel Yamato Heguri

I went to the large public bath at 9pm, but the water temperature was low, probably due to the settings. I told the front desk, but they couldn't solve the problem. The food was not so good either! I won't be a repeat customer.

All the staff, from the reception to the cafeteria, were extremely helpful! It was clean and I had a pleasant stay. Thank you so much! I'll come again.

Rebranded from Kanpo no Yado in June 2022. As a pre-campaign for the first anniversary, there was an announcement of "all-you-can-eat crab" for dinner for +1,100 yen, so I looked into it and found that the total price here was reasonable, so I immediately applied. And of course I had a second helping. Heguri is at the foot of Minamiikomayama, which is on the border between Nara and Osaka, and among the tributaries of the Yamatogawa River, the Tatsuta River, which is only as famous as "Chihayaburu", is not prominent as a Nara landmark. This time, I crossed the prefectural border at Ankoku Pass and then again at Juso Pass, a little south. I also went to Shigisan Chogosonshiji Temple for the first time in a while. There are many farmers in Heguri Town, except for the area near the Kintetsu Station. It is said that various new crops, as well as the cultivation of chrysanthemums and roses, are also thriving. The nearby roadside station seems to start direct sales around 9am, so if you stop by after checking out of the hotel, you might have fun finding a wide selection of products.

It can't be helped that the facility is old, but I would like the bathrooms to be cleaned a little better. Especially windows and doors. All the staff were very kind and responsive. The food is delicious and satisfying.

The inn is located on a small hill. It is a 3-story building, and I stayed in a single on the 2nd floor. The room is large. Central air conditioning. Heating and cooling can be adjusted by 4 degrees each, but the room temperature does not seem to change even if you turn the dial. WiFi speed is slow. The large public bath is an indoor bath and an open-air bath with an outdoor garden. Red hydrangeas and Japanese butterburs are planted in the outer garden. It's nice to hear the cries of the sculpin. The hot spring is a weakly alkaline simple hot spring, colorless and transparent with a slight odor. My body is warm. Dinner is sumptuous and delicious. Even if you stay two nights, you can enjoy different dinner menus. The rice is very delicious because it uses domestically produced rice. You can enjoy both hot springs and meals, and relax both physically and mentally. I got rid of the tiredness of the trip.
