Lovely home from home got a little lost as arrived on public transport rang the bnb they came to get us !! Food amazing ! Bed so comfy and cosy ! Very clean, homely loved the home made lemon cheese!! Highly recommend staying here you won't be disappointed

Wow 😍 what a fantastic little gem of a B&B. Beautiful,stunning well presented place to stay. Came for Easter weekend and can't wait to go back already. (Booked as soon as home 😁). Hannah and BJ are such wonderful hosts. They made us feel so very welcome and nothing was too much to ask. The thoughtfulness of a Lindt choc bunny on our table on Easter Sunday was such a special touch 🐰 Bright clean rooms with everything you need loved the fact there were robes and even a plastic tray for dirty shoes great idea. Breakfast was amazing could make choices every day. However my fave was the Shakshouka poached eggs in spicy tomato sauce 😋. Mum was extra happy with her Halloumi on her veg breakfast made her day. Parking was a huge bonus and also the drying room. Great start points for some fab walks too. Looking forward to our next visit 100% great B&B will certainly recommend x 🤩 thank you for our stay. This is a great B & B in a beautiful part of England. The hosts were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and the location was great for walks and exploring. We enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again. We would definitely recommend staying,

Hannah and BJ were amazing hosts, who made us feel very welcome. Our room was very pleasant, clean and airy. We had a good choice of breakfasts ranging from full English to continental and the granola was particularly delicious! Woodside was very close to the old railway line which had been turned into a footpath. This made for a very pleasant 10 minutes walk into the town centre. We will definitely be returning.

Woodside BandB run by Hannah and Bart-Jan is simply a wonderful place to stay in Keswick. Their home is welcoming, interesting and spotless. The double room i was in had the most comfortable double bed, fluffy pillows and duvet imaginable. A comfy seating area meant i could relax, read and watch some TV without perching on the bed. However, the star of the show was their breakfasts- a mouth watering menu, prepared fresh by Hannah every morning. Simply heavenly. All lovingly served. Bartjan and Hannah have an passion for the area and share their time and knowledge easily to help their guests. I can't recommend this couple and their BandB highly enough!

What a perfect location, with lovely hosts and room! Easy to find, good parking, super views, everything is really well thought through. Lovely room with more useful features than most hotels (like plugs and USBs which so many hotels still don’t have near the bed), delicious breakfast. Perfect location with lots of walks. And the owners Hannah and BJ are so kind and friendly, while also respectful of your time and privacy. Can’t wait to return. Thank you both!

After an enjoyable weekend in Keswick, we will certainly be returning to Woodside. The room was so comfortable and well equiped. Hannah and Bart-Jan have created a lovely feel to the place and breakfast was second to none.

This is our second visit to Woodside and we're planning on returning before the middle of November. It is run by Hannah and BJ, who only took over Woodside less than a year ago and I'd be surprised if you ever met two more genuine and helpful hosts. There are refurbishment planned for later on this hearing it you want to stay in Keswick, and are trying to find somewhere reasonably priced and homely then this is the place for you. The accommodation is spotless and the food is locally sourced, well cooked and plentiful. We wouldn't stay anywhere else. Thanks to Hannah for going to the trouble of posting back the phone charger I do carelessly left in my room. See you soon!

Woodside B & B was perfect, I wish we could have stayed longer. It ticked every box for us, Hannah and BJ were really friendly and helpful, our room was beautiful and spacious, a nice hot shower, great selection of complimentary tea and coffee, a great choice of breakfast options including plenty of vegetarian choices , the homemade granola was delicious as was the full Lakes Breakfast (we didn't need to eat much for the rest of the day!). The location was great, the old railway path just over the road made it easy to walk into Keswick. We would highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again.
