Overall this is a nice facility. I actually gave it a very good rating about two years ago. However, the hotel now caters strongly to foreign, non-English speaking clientele who either do not know how to behave in a civilized society or do not care to do so. The breakfast area is a free-for-all of rude people running in front of you, spilling things everywhere, having shouting conversations, leaving debris on tables and floors, unsupervised and running children trying to knock you down, etc. To make it worse, the breakfast room tv is tuned into "Telemundo" (not English) and is playing at top volume, apparently to compete with the screaming and yelling. To state that the overall situation was offensive is an understatement.
The front entryway presents you with the challenge of having to navigate your way through groups of clueless and rude smokers who wish to share their carcinogens with you. The pm desk clerk is often away from her station to join them.
