Holiday Inn Blackpool

Lovely new hotel situated 2 mins from Blackpool north station. Sleek modern contemporary style. Very comfortable beds . Lovely reception area . The staff here were very nice , big shout to Rebecca was lovely and helpful . Certainly would recommend this hotel as you know that IHG are a consistent brand & Blackpool certainly needs something like this as it’s starting to look very rundown

Think the whole experience at the restaurant was okay I got the chicken and it was a little less than I expected. I think that the restaurant supervisor looked miserable and was quite rude if I’m honest but our main sever called Dennis was very nice and helpful think he was the best server out of the group well done to him

The supervisor Jordan was quite rude and looks miserable the whole time but apart from that the food was good and our main server Dennis was brilliant and the best staff by far . What a lad. The place is really nice and modern looks lovely and Dennis was brill

This hotel is absolutely lovely, stayed here over the bank holiday weekend. Room was spotless and the bed was so comfy! The staff were all so friendly and the bar/lobby area had a nice ambience as we had a few drinks there. Breakfast was fantastic! We will be back!

Outstanding hotel! We travel to Blackpool regularly and it's been a while since Blackpool had a hotel of this calibre. It may be because it's brand new, but if they can keep up the high standard they have set themselves, it will be worth returning in the very near future. Everything from the initial greeting, to the great rooms and excellent breakfast, was well done and made it was a pleasure to stay here. Special mention to the staff, fantastic service! Many thanks!

I usually stay at the Hampton Hilton when staying in Blackpool but thought i would try the new Holiday Inn. I am glad i did. I arrived early and walked from the station the few yards to the hotel. The room was not ready so i left my bag and had a walk into town for fish and chips for lunch. Just past 3pm i checked in. There was some confusion over my choice of rooms. I had asked for the corner room with the double aspect windows when i made the original booking but was given a room overlooking the train station. Great if you are a train spotter but not for me. The nice member of staff on reception changed my room to a much nicer one overlooking Talbot Rd as i had also requested. The room was excellent with a king size bed, sofa, fridge and a massive TV. The bathroom and shower were also very good. The view from the window was good as i like to see a bit of life, people walking along, buses and taxis. There was no noise from outside or from other rooms in fact i think i was the only guest on the third floor as i did not see another person. I went for breakfast at 6-45am each morning and had a laugh and joke with the nice lady member of staff and the male staff member as well. The food was excellent with the pastries being the best i have had in any hotel. The hot food also good and nice fresh fruit salad. It was only the second week of the hotel being open so obviously everything was new and clean. Every member of staff i came across, the girls on reception. the breakfast staff, housekeeping staff were all friendly polite and professional and looked like they were really pleased to have been chosen for the job. I now have the headache and quandary in deciding where to stay on my future visits to Blackpool. Do i stay at this brilliant Holiday Inn or at my usual Hampton Hilton which is also a brilliant hotel. I will have to stay at both on alternative visits. One time at the Holiday Inn and one time at the Hampton Hilton giving my business to both of them. Well done to the Managers and staff of the new hotel and all the best. keep up the good work and I will see you all again later in the year.
