4/5Very GoodThe resort did not realize that they have missed our booking and they had no idea that we were going to check in. Paid for the premier pool villa and they allocated us a 100 square feet room instead of the 130 square feet room. The 130 square feet room contains a standard long pool as promoted on their website and was reserved for an online blogger. And a 100 square feet room contains a very small pool, the size of a jacuzzi. It was not a decent check-in experience and am very disappointed that the pool is way much smaller than the one they promoted. The service and dining experience are good overall. Be careful not to believe in the photos that they put up on their official website or Instagram, or else you will be very disappointed. you don't get what you think you are paying for.

4/5Very GoodThe hotel is a small boutique hotel with a beach, but it is too far. There is nothing outside the hotel. If it doesn't rain, you can play on the beach. If it rains, it will be extremely boring. The food and beverages are relatively simple. The spa is very good and the price is not expensive.

Tubkaak is at a remote corner of Krabi which also means the beach is rather private. The service is impeccable, we went for breakfast and came back to find the room cleaned. The overall experience from checking in, parking the car, breakfast was very smooth and pleasant and it makes you understand this is exactly the kind of experience you’re looking for during a holiday. Our son screwed our passcode for the safe and we had to trouble the hotel staff. It wasn’t easy because the helpful staff broke the master key while trying to help us resolve our issue. It took 3 persons more than 30 minutes but it was all smiles. The beach is extremely flat and hotel guests can use the float boards and paddles for free. Our 10 year old thoroughly enjoyed his “kayaking” and we felt safe because adults could walk all the way out a 100m away. You could book a day out on a boat with the hotel without having to travel to a pickup point. We took a morning trip to Hong Island and the sea was calm and beautiful. There is a seafood restaurant nearby in case you find the hotel too expensive. Highly recommended!
