My wife and I just finished a 7 day stay at the Hotel Copernicus. The hotel is perfectly located in Old City. It is a classy establishment with rooms that are spacious and well decorated. Ours offered a view to Wawel Castle. Bathroom had a gigantic tub and a separate shower. The breakfasts were delicious and served in a lovely dining area by professional staff . We did a food tasting paired with wine that was outstanding. From reception to restaurant to housekeeping all staff were at the top of their game. Hotel Manager Joanna made our stay memorable with her kindness and attention to our stay there. 5 stars in all aspects and a must to stay in when visiting Kraków.

If you are inclined to make friends with a hotel staff this is the place with open arms. The hotel was magnificent along with accommodations, the Gavi Restaurant should qualify for a Michelin Star, so should the bedding and pillows,but again, it was the staff that truly made our stay. These are our friends; the receptionists are Zofia,Weronika Natalie,Ilona,Rafal,Michal. The bellboys are Michal,Dominik,Wojciech,Jakob,Max Breakfast staff,Claudia,Gabrysia,Joanna The extraordinary Gavi restaurant Staff includes Krzysztof,Manu and the Third level Sommelier Mateusz. Yes they have the Wine Spectator Award for excellence the last three years. If you wish for the ultimate in enjoyment and relaxation Bachleda Luxury Hotel is the place. The room is large, there is a place to put the box, but the bed is not big, not far from the old town and the train station, probably in the middle. There is a music school in the hotel, and there are always students from the college who are practicing the piano and passing out beautiful music. I don’t know if the air conditioner in the room is broken, not too cool, the house is quite tidal, the other is ok, there is breakfast, but the variety can not eat much.

I loved staying here. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and professional. They made me feel very welcome. In addition, they were brilliant with suggesting places for me to visit, how to reach them and even where to eat. Incidentally, there's also a tourist information office across the road from the hotel. Check in was straightforward and easy. Even though I arrived early, my room was ready for me. I had one of the rooms with a terrace. One is located over the other. Mine was the lower room and might not have had quite such a good view, but the upper terrace protected mine from the elements which I felt was more of an advantage. The room was a good size with sufficient sockets within easy access. The bathroom was enormous with a shelf and brilliant shower. Complementary fizzy and still water was provided each day. I could choose whether I wanted housekeeping or not. The bed was comfortable with a non feather duvet. The black out curtains were effective. Air conditioning worked well. There was sufficient storage. The rooms have proper keys. A definite plus in my opinion. Reception is open 24 hours. Quite inadvertently, I saw staff cleaning a room and also the lift. I can honestly admit that I've never witnessed such thorough cleaning in any hotel. Ever. Breakfast was served to the table. I'm not sure if this was due to COVID-19, but I think that it's a better arrangement than a buffet which I'm not keen on. I never can be certain whether people have touched or sneezed over something I later eat. The homemade lemonade was wonderful as was the bread and chocolate spread. The location of the hotel was ideal for public transport and sightseeing. I'd recommend this hotel without hesitation. I even booked to return in December, but sadly COVID-19 prevented this. My thanks to all the staff for making my stay such a memorable one. I hope I shall be able to return soon.
