Gudian Banshan Hot Spring Hotel

The room was fantastic, I loved that the TV supported screen mirroring. The hot spring pool was incredibly relaxing, and the restaurant service was absolutely perfect.

This was the most comfortable hotel I stayed at during my days in Kunming. Although the hotel decor is a bit dated, you can tell a lot of thought went into it. The service, in particular, was excellent. Every staff member I encountered was incredibly genuine. I really felt the sincerity and kindness of the Yunnan people. The hot springs were also quite clean. The breakfast at this place was exceptionally well-prepared; the ingredients and flavors were all delightful. I'll definitely return after their renovation is complete.

I stayed for three nights, and overall, my experience was very satisfying. This hotel left the deepest impression on me during my trip to Yunnan. The private courtyard and hot spring gave it a real resort feel, and the quiet environment was perfect for relaxation. The breakfast quality was excellent; in addition to the usual offerings, there were freshly cooked items like pan-fried steak and fresh shrimp, which I looked forward to every morning. The service was an even bigger bonus. Our butler drove us to the mountaintop restaurant for breakfast, and any requests we had during our stay were promptly met. The whole process felt very comfortable—not overly intrusive, but help was always available immediately when needed. When we checked out, they even thoughtfully gave us some tea as a souvenir, which was a lovely touch. If you're looking for a hotel genuinely suited for a vacation and unwinding, I think it's definitely worth experiencing. I'll certainly come back if I have the chance.

Absolutely amazing! The private hot spring in the courtyard was incredibly comfortable, and the service was excellent. They even have a dry sauna. Breakfast was also very satisfying, with freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices and freshly grilled steak. Plus, there's an infinity pool with sunset views.

The hotel service was very attentive, and the overall atmosphere was excellent. Both the butler and the front desk staff were warm and professional. The suite has its own private hot spring, which is very clean and offers great privacy, allowing for two soaks. The hotel's shuttle bus can take you to the restaurant, infinity pool, and public hot spring, which is very comfortable in this weather, and the kids loved it. The highest restaurant, Cloud Top, offers à la carte dining; their stir-fried bitter greens with red beans were delicious – I've never had them prepared that way before. The breakfast buffet is also served there, and the service is great. The rice noodles were much better than the takeout we had the day before. In the evening, you can also watch the sunset near the infinity pool. Overall, this place is definitely worth staying at. I originally wanted to extend my stay for another night, but the hotel was fully booked, so I'll have to come back next time~

The room was exceptionally clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly! The breakfast was plentiful, and every single staff member was polite. This is one of the best hot spring resorts in the country, definitely worth revisiting! A special thank you to everyone!
