An ideally located hotel with a lot of foreign tourists. The breakfast is very photogenic; I tried the English and French options on two separate days, and they were quite good. The overall ambiance is also very pleasant (and the room even had a walk-in shower instead of a bathtub).

This is my second time staying at Sequence. It was quite busy during the Golden Week peak season, and compared to my last visit, there was a slight odor from the bathroom. However, Japanese-style shower rooms can be hard to come by, and this hotel has a great location while remaining relatively clean. I will choose to stay here again next time.

We had a lovely stay here! The hotel is clean, modern, and has a stylish dark-themed interior. I especially liked the lighting design in both the lobby and the room. It gave the hotel a really modern and sophisticated feel. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the amenities provided were great. Everything smelled really nice. There are also additional amenities available for guests to pick up on the first floor as needed. The location is pretty good, with Gojo Station nearby. However, if you’re planning to visit Nishiki Market or explore the main tourist areas, be prepared for quite a bit of walking. We easily ended up walking around 20,000 steps a day, so comfortable shoes are a must or just take busses. There’s also a drugstore right next door, almost like a mini Don Quijote, Convenience stores are also nearby. Overall, a clean, modern, and comfortable hotel with thoughtful amenities. We enjoyed our stay!

This hotel was, without a doubt, the best one I stayed at in Japan. For the same price, the room was incredibly spacious, and their hot springs were fantastic. The washing facilities were also very convenient. During our stay, we needed to exchange some cash, and the front desk staff were incredibly helpful, even guiding us to a nearby bank. Plus, there were some lovely little surprises when we checked in. We even took a photo with the staff at the end – it was a wonderful experience!
