We just left Villa Marcella, stayed three nights and this beautiful property provided a home away from home! The hospitality from the proprietors, Eliza and Marco was incredible from dinner recommendations and reservations to local questions or a chats as we saw the on the property. A comfortable place to rest after our adventures to Cinque Terra which we commuted via a 20 minute walk to the train. We used our car to visit Porte venere for an afternoon but otherwise it sat for three days; walked across the street to coffee, 5-10 minute walk to dinner and public transportation from this great location. I wish we had warmer weather so we could have utilized the gorgeous pool. Grazie Mille, Eliza and Marco🇮🇹

Great Accommodation, Lovely Hosts, Quiet Location but Felt Cramped for Us Liked · Spotlessly clean. Lovely pool. Marco was fabulous and accommodating. Disliked · The room felt cramped with too much furniture. You could hear the upstairs neighbours walking around until approx 11pm and started up again at approx 5.30am. The neighbours next door were noisy with slamming the doors and keys. We had to remove the air fresheners from the room as they were overpowering for us and made us cough.

Marco and Elisa are fantastic hosts. They are always there to help if you need it.
The villa is immaculate and very well organised.
A little bit out of the centre but it is very easy to get everywhere. It only took us 18 minutes to Cinque Terre.
Parking was on the street outside (free). Local neighborhood is very safe.
Marco was able to recommend a few places to eat in the local area.
Great service, great place - thank you. We will be back.

A stylish guesthouse with lovely pool. Stayed 2 nights as base to visit Cinque Terra. Couldn't fault the place or the owners. I would highly reccomend this accomodation. Everything felt like it was brand new. Location slightly out of town but didn't cause us problems, it is easily walkable (25 mins)

Our stay here was great. We picked Villa Marcella because of the easy street parking for our rental car while we visited the Cinque Terre by train for a day. And we were so glad we made this decision. The hosts were welcoming and kind, the room was spotless with all the amenities we needed in a relatively quiet neighborhood setting, and it’s a 10-15 minute walk to La Spezia train station where we used our Cinque Terre train pass (purchased online) to visit the villages for the day. We had a lovely stay and would come again. Thank you!

Our room was very comfortable and modern. The building was quite nice as well. The host was very friendly. However the check in time was extremely inconvenient. Their hours are from 18:30 to 22:00. We had planned to go to Cinque Terre the day we arrived. We had to call the host to accommodate us. Which he did. But it was extremely inconvenient and took a while. It is also a bit if a walk to the La Spezia train station if you are going to take the train to Cinque Terre. About 20 minutes. No breakfast but there was a cafe right across the street.
