I was unable to travel due to covid restrictions. As I had booked a prepaid room, I contacted the company as I was not entitled to a refund requesting a voucher. The communication was appalling and they were anything but sympathetic, but very arrogant stating that "For almost two years, everyday life and travel has been under the influence of COVID-19 and its effects. In Europe, there have been repeated local restrictions in recent months in line with the spread of the virus. When planning a hotel stay, it was and still is to be assumed that restrictions of this kind may come into effect at any time, especially at this time of year.." I should have known better before booking a prepaid rate, although in the booking site states that you should be able to get a voucher, my request was blatantly ignored, and did not even get a response. I appreciate we are all feeling the crunch with covid, but with their rudeness, ignorance, arrogance, and greediness they have lost a customer. Avoid if you can, for a company that claims to deal with worldwide customers, they have got a lot to learn about customer service.
