Capri Laguna on the Beach - A Boutique Hotel

Wow! Capri Laguna amazes me again! Nick Politis has continually taken such great care of us over the past decade. Capri Laguna has the most beautiful location, right on the sand. At Capri Laguna The ocean is the ONLY view! Great pool, breakfast on site, coffee always available, the most amazing restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Thank you for always taking such great care of the Duke family!

The environment is comfortable... I like this place. Very artistic, many beautiful galleries, next time you come to the United States, you will definitely look forward to your next trip to the United States.

I appreciate that the hotel does a great job of explaining all the amenities (or lack of amenities like air conditioning). My initial room was nice and cool as it was on the east side of the hotel. Unfortunately, it did not have the desk I needed. The first person I spoke to about switching rooms told me they were completely sold out and there were no rooms to switch to. After parking my car in their lot a different person was at the desk and I asked him. He totally understood and moved me to the same level room with a desk. I didn't ask why I was told no initially, I was just grateful for the desk. I will say this room was a bit warm as it was on the west side. I did open two windows however neither had screens. One I had to prop open with a towel unless I wanted it to be really open (using the preset rungs), which felt a bit exposed for me. I did appreciate the free coffee and water during my stay. Every staff member I spoke to was pleasant, including the gal at 5:30 AM when I went to get hot water. The bed itself was very comfortable and I also appreciated the mini-fridge. I would stay here again, but most likely stay on the east side of the building during the summer months.
Laguna Beach Lodge

This was by far my favorite place to stay in Laguna and possibly all of California. The room was quiet, comfortable, and chic. Soft bed, beautiful bathroom , great kitchenette. The decor was modern and tasteful. The television actually had all the channels that a smart tv should have. The location was perfect! Easy parking, and walking distance from the best beach in Laguna, a Gelsons market, many great restaurants . WOW! No need to drive once you arrive. The hotel provides each room with beach chairs and an umbrella . The staff was friendly, and Chris ( who booked us in ) was amazing! The Laguna Beach Lodge understands what a vacation is about, I hope to go back soon. Thanks
Surf and Sand Resort

Would never stay here again! We had to contact the front desk twice within an hour of check in. Tub jets were disgusting. Sand in tub bottom of tub. Drain in tub clogged. Spot of what appeared to be blood in tub. Large stain on white duvet. Housekeeping came late the night we checked in (after a long day of travel) to change bedding and clean tub with bleach. The next day I asked for tub to be cleaned again as tub jets were still filthy and stain was still in tub. Maintenance came and drain was still not working. We basically had to stand in dirty water while we showered the whole weekend. I spoke to the hotel manager who comped about 1/3 of the cost of our stay for the weekend. We appreciate this, but the complete lack of cleanliness during a global pandemic was alarming. The area was gorgeous. We loved the balcony in our room. There were a lot of stairs to get to or from our room, that could be an issue for some guests.

Check in was easy and fast. Plenty of parking. Front desk is amazing on both shift. Free transportation is close by. Walking distance to the beach (not Treasure Island) - less crowded. Breakfast is good. Room is clean and spacious.
