We had known this hotel in 2011 when Lai Chau ”the muddy” suffered the aftermath of the construction of the dam. The hotel has changed for the better, clean rooms, correct staff but not very familiar with Western peculiarities (it doesn't matter to us) unfortunately far from the center so from all the restaurants. This is a decent hotel for a stopover. The restaurant, less canteen than before, remains very local with a standard menu. I do not have a memory of noises contrary to some. Not really any other choice and we don't regret it.
