Hotels near Chiayi Tower, Chiayi City

Really good location, the room was really clean shampoo and body wash was provided we just had to pay to use a bathroom towel which wasn’t much. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was great about 10 minutes walk to the train station that goes to Alishan and the bus stop just outside the train station. If you arrive by the bullet train they provide a shuttle to the main station for free which is convenient. Restaurants and shops are all in walking distance from this accommodation.

Unbeatable location! The perfect stopover for Alishan or taking the train! My stay at Xingyi Wunlu was excellent. Its greatest asset is definitely its location—right across from Chiayi train station. You just cross the street after exiting the station, which is incredibly time-saving and convenient for travelers catching an early train to Alishan or continuing their journey by rail, meaning no long walks with heavy luggage. Although the building's exterior looks a bit dated, the rooms themselves are clean, tidy, and spacious. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were also very clean. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, even offering luggage storage services. It's also super convenient for shopping and dining nearby. Extremely good value for money, definitely the top choice for a place to stay when visiting Alishan!

The room was spacious and the front desk service was excellent. However, complimentary bottled water isn't provided, and disposable toiletries are only given upon request, which is a bit different from what's common in mainland China. The 3rd floor has a communal lounge and a laundry room, and it seemed quite lively with many people chatting. However, after a long day of sightseeing, I was too tired to socialize. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, being extremely close to the high-speed rail station, bus station, and night market! The ********* people are incredibly friendly! My boyfriend almost lost his phone at the night market, but a snack stall owner helped keep it safe for him. We're truly grateful for their kindness!

It was my first time staying here. The room and toilet were big and clean. But the soundproofing seems to be poor. If someone is talking in the corridor (maybe a nearby neighbor), they can hear it in the room. 😂

Very near to train station and walking distance to night market. They also provide bicycle for rent. I requested for 1hr extension as I had gout attack and till medication in the morning. I needed extra time for the medicine to take effect before I can walk properly. Thank you for the exception offered. Really appreciate it. Breakfast is good too just that I had no appetite that morning due to gout.

Great location, but no dedicated parking. There are plenty of parking lots nearby, costing about 240 a day. The hotel has a large and very nice common area. The 4-person bunk bed room was decent. However, the bathroom in the room was tiny, and there was no separate wet and dry area, which was quite inconvenient. Upon entering the hotel, there was a very strong and unpleasant odor, like leftover food or sewage, which was quite disgusting. The room rate wasn't bad though, around 2000 for four people on a weekday without meals.

The location is excellent, easy to find. There are welcome drinks and snacks available at the reception area. Rooms are clean though it's an old hotel. Accessible to night market, train and bus station. We have had a wonderful stay at Chiayi. If you go to the night market, do try their guava juice and their 'hamburger 肉夹馍'. It's awesome.

The hotel offers a convenient parking lot with unlimited in-and-out access, which I found fantastic. It's really handy for travelers driving to Chiayi, as you don't have to constantly search for parking. The accommodation price is also very reasonable. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

First I was supposed to give 2 stars because when we arrive at hotel, they only accept cash in twd dollar as we thought already paid via online. So, it caused us to paid more compared to online as the exchange rate. We dunno why they wanted us paid first via online and then refund to us after the day check out. This will make the process too complicated. This hotel was so traditional even no online payment & maybe doesn't have debit card too? Honestly, the hotel was really nice looking & clean as the pic shown. The toilet look good but the bathroom door was so so old and rushed cannot close. The bed was strangely & weirdly comfortable but it sounds of spring so so noisy when we moving around the bed. This must be changed because senior or someone not comfortable with hard bed should not booking this hotel!!! The aircon work well but at night it automatically closed down. Maybe save electricity or something as thought we didn't set anything?? This hotel provided buffet at morning (6.30 - 8.30am) such as toast, rice and porridge. It so nice since this hotel was budgeted compared to other which more expensive. However, we dunno why they set the time so earlier in the morning should be until 11 am or 12 pm. Who will wake up in that time?? Maybe people cannot sleep that time or something else. I 100 % sure that the foods will be leftover. The service was well...ok nothing to comments. The overall still budgeted hotel & the location from train station was so near, the Wen Hua night market was so near about 800 meter. We still NOT STRATIFICATION with this hotel !!!!

The hotel is close to the train station. The staff is friendly. Unfortunately, the bathroom was rattling all night and the night staff explained that they can only fix it next morning.
