Economical and affordable, the room is not big. The disadvantage is that there is no sound insulation, there is a parking lot with no charge, no breakfast, the bed is comfortable to lie down on, and the bathroom does not separate wet and dry areas, but it is clean and has no odor.

On the fourth day of hiking around the island, I stayed at Nantou Backpackers B&B. Because of my relationship with Maomao, I had to find a pet-friendly accommodation. The hotel is conveniently located just 6km from Zhuoshui Station and 58km from Taichung International Airport. The main area is divided into two areas: business hotel and motel. The motel has an independent garage, which is also the room type we stayed in this time. The rooms are average, and breakfast is served on the first floor of the hotel. The dining area is really special, with a small space and crowded seats. There are quite a few dishes, all served on large plates, but there is no meat. For drinks, unified soy milk and rice milk are directly placed in barrels, and paper cups are provided for you to pour yourself.
However, you can check in at 20:00, which is better than other motels.

GGuest UserAs with the other reviews, the service here is amazing. You have the option to have your breakfast delivered to your room. During check-in, the staff will personally bring you to your room. If you arrived early or plan to leave sun moon lake much later after check out, you can leave your bags or luggage to the staff to keep. Staff here also offers tickets to the ferry, bicycle rental, cable car and other services available. The only con is that there is no lakeview, but everything else is very accessible. Bus station, Ferry station, 7-11 and restaurants are just a few minutes walk from the hotel. As for the room itself, the toilet is equipped with bidet. There's also some snacks and teabags for you. Electric mosquito repellent is also available if there's a need to, but I did not encounter any bugs in the room. Room is also modernly designed and most importantly, clean and bugs-free! Bed is of soft and comfortable type. I nearly dozed off while lying on bed. Wifi's strong as well. Would highly recommend to others who plans to visit sun moon lake. This hotel has almost everything you need, convenience, amazing service, and good food.

GGuest UserGreat location, super close to everything in Ita Thai. Rooms are SO SPACIOUS! I’m 5’4 and I could almost stand up in the pod. There’s even room for your bags next to the bed and the whole pod locks so you don’t have to spay for a separate locker.
Staff are friendly. Everything is clean, especially the bathroom/shower room. There’s a kitchen area on ground floor and a rooftop. It wasn’t a sociable hostel really, but I wasn’t there for that so it was perfect.

XXinluoyuanThe highlight of choosing the Fleur de Chine Hotel at Sun Moon Lake was the complimentary shuttle service to and from Taichung HSR station. Besides the excellent service and beautiful scenery, the hotel rooms not only have their own hot springs but there's also a public hot spring for guests to enjoy. Breakfast is served until 12 PM, and dinner includes a complimentary bottle of wine per table. The beds in the rooms are incredibly comfortable, and the mini-fridge is stocked with free drinks. In the afternoon, there's a shuttle bus service to the pier, and if you want to take the round-the-lake bus, they even provide a free one-day pass. The shuttle back to Taichung departs at 12 PM, so I regrettably didn't get a chance to visit many attractions. I'll definitely come back if I have the opportunity.

Parking can be booked in advance for 300 yuan per parking session, which is quite convenient. The room decor is great. The only downside is the water pressure is insufficient, causing the hot water to fluctuate in temperature. If this could be resolved by contacting the plumber, it would be perfect.

廖廖國志First row lake view, the scenery is absolutely stunning. The accommodation itself is also excellent. The breakfast may not look huge, but it has everything you could want and tastes delicious. Having a bathtub in the room was a great luxury. The hotel also conveniently sells various tour packages, tickets, and boat tickets. Parking was no issue either. The hotel is right on Ita Thao's liveliest street, making for a truly fantastic experience.

However, the carpet in the room and in the common areas are quite dated and does not meet current standards. An update would significantly improve the overall comfort and impression of the room. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay thanks to the location and service, but some room upgrades—particularly the carpet—would make a noticeable difference.

Soundproofing is a bit poor, and the lighting at night is slightly insufficient. There's a water dispenser, which is convenient. There are quite a few mosquitoes and bugs in the mountains, so I suggest adding screens to the doors or installing screen doors.

The hotel is ideally located in Shuishe, a stop for the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle, offering convenient transportation while still being quiet. It's just a 10-minute walk to the Sun Moon Lake Visitor Center where you can catch the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle and the round-the-lake bus. Since there aren't many shops or food stalls in Shuishe at night, we chose a room package that included dinner. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style at the hotel, allowing us to relax and enjoy, offering great value for money. The in-room bathtub was perfect for a hot soak, which was very convenient. The service was excellent, and both my friend and I were very satisfied. We'd be happy to book this hotel again next time.

The gym has treadmills and spin bikes. The lake view rooms face the beautiful lake. The quad room even has a Japanese-style tatami room. Excellent value for money. It's only a 15-minute walk from Shuishe Pier, super convenient if you get hungry late at night!
