Hotel is in a very good location. 5 mins walk to Tottenham Court Road station and just a few bus/tube stops to the major attractions. Offers direct connection to Heathrow via the Elizabeth line as well. However the room was tiny and the hotel does not provide bottled water, bathroom slippers, and dental kits. There was no minibar in the room as well. The room is decently clean but the sheets may not have been washed properly as there are still hairs on them. Room can be quite stuffy during the summer as there is no AC, but there is an electric fan provided and windows can be opened for ventilation. Breakfast was average, just a regular English style breakfast, buffet style. There isn’t any coffee machine, only normal coffee/tea from kettles and powdered hot chocolate sachets. Just don’t expect anything luxury from this hotel.

This room is comparable to what you'd get for around 500 RMB in a major Chinese city. Check-in was smooth, and while the English breakfast didn't have a huge selection, it was definitely enough to fill up on. The room provides shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap, but you'll need to bring your own drinking water. A £30 deposit was required upon arrival, which was promptly refunded after check-out. The room with a sofa bed was the same size as a standard double room, so for three people with a sofa bed, it felt noticeably cramped. The double room we stayed in for the following days was much more comfortable. I didn't find any significant issues with cleanliness, though the shower stall had only a half-door, which meant water easily splashed out. I'm not sure what kind of design that is.

Great little hotel, good location for what I needed it for, it was just super busy, breakfast super busy, luggage room super busy, the queue was snaking round and people were queuing forever, the rooms are out across the road from the lobby, if you’re ok it being super busy and huge then this perfectly fine hotel, it’s hard to gauge from the pics online how big and busy it is, my Preference is I like quiet and chilled lol

The Stand Palace Hotel is fantastic! From the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The room was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable - we were on the 3rd floor and had no issue at all with noise. The view left a lot to be desired, but to be honest, we weren't there to sit and look out the window! The room was small, but it didn't cause issues at all and had everything you'd expect/need from a hotel. The breakfast the next morning was brilliant with a wide choice of food options. The hotel is situated within walking distance to Covent Garden and Leicester Square, which was perfect for us. This is the best hotel I've stayed in for a LONG time, and I will most definitely be returning. The complimentary bottles of water and chocolate were a great touch.

I stayed for 8 nights. I had originally booked an own room with a shared bathroom, but the manager, Shahram, kindly suggested that an en-suite room would be more comfortable for such a long stay. He even allowed me to see the room before making a decision, which I really appreciated. On top of that, it was a free upgrade. I received a bottle of water and some fruit every day, and breakfast was also included for free. At the restaurant, a lady named Eva greeted me with a warm smile every morning. I was very satisfied with my stay. For long-stay guests: There is no laundry room on-site, and the hotel does not provide a laundry service. The front desk can refer you to a partnered company, but you’ll need to download an app to use it. There is also a laundrette called Long Lane Launderette, about a 17-minute walk away, where you can get your laundry done at a much cheaper price. The small-size service costs £13, or £12 if you bring your own detergent.

Very central, big hotel. free coffee in.lobby. This Citadines didnt include housekeeping unless it was paid extra. There was no mention anywhere of this in hotel description during booking. I was at a Citadines 1 week before in Tokyo and there they had a choice, both free. According to London reception.desk it.was.because these are *apartments* (but so were the Tokyo ones) and they told TRIP.com didnt provide all info and they were not responsible. I was asked to leave a review on Citadines where I mentioned this issue to receive a very 'defensive' reply of reception manager after a few minutes. Its not a super big deal but the way London staff handled things is not like one would hope: very defensive and not very nice honestly.

Brilliant location close to Angel station, so very good transport links. Very welcoming staff at check-in. Complied with our special request for a room with a bath. Our first night was uncomfortable as we could not get the heating to work in our very chilly room and the duvet was extremely thin. However, following a chat with the very helpful Reception staff the following morning, we spent a far more comfortable second night. We have stayed at this hotel before and will do so again.

This is a good hotel if you're looking for a more economical stay with a good breakfast. We had a great check in experience where we had arrived early and had a short wait for an early check in. The staff were very good here helping us find a table each morning for breakfast, made an ice pack for my wife's sore foot and they have a fridge to store food items behind the front desk. The location was pretty good and it was a short walk to popular attractions like Tate Modern, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, and Burough Market. There were a few restaurants nearby and we enjoyed grabbing quick bites at many of the nearby shops including Tesco, Sainsbury's and Amazon Fresh. There are lots of hotels in the area as well. The hotel is located about a 7 minute walk from Blackfriars station which offers Thameslink Service to Gatwick Airport and connects easily to the Elizabeth Line to go to Heathrow. It is within a 15 minute walk to Waterloo and Southwark stations and there are busses that go through the area too so it makes the city very accessible. It is worth checking out the train schedule because some trains go every 20-30 minutes instead of the frequency north of the Thames. The room was nicely appointed with a comfy bed, four pillows, a small work space, a small wardrobe, tea station, large television, and some shelving to store our things. We were transiting through London and had brought three large suitcases with us and there was plenty of space for those. The hotel is located in a quieter area and the air conditioning is very strong so we enjoyed each night's sleep. There were signs posted that they were undergoing some maintenance work during our stay in August 2025 so it was very noisy after 9:30 am in the hotel. This is a temporary issue. We felt that the housekeeping could improve because we were provided with dirty hand towels a couple of times and they did not vacuum the floor at the entrance of the room. The wifi was good and if you've set up an IHG account before you can quickly and easily log in but we found that we had to reconnect each night. The bathroom was pretty good with a nice new and clean shower. The shower was very good each night with an adjustable head, eco setting, good temperature control and tight seals to keep the water in. They have unique shampoo and body wash that are kale and parsley scented. There isn't much room to hang wet towels in the bathroom but they do have hooks in the bedroom that we used. The breakfast was good and we were happy it was included in our stay. They had all the fixings for an English breakfast with particularly good sausages and rashes of bacon. They also had yoghurt, fruit, cheese and some cereal for a lighter breakfast. The coffee machine was good for made to order options and there was a good selection of tea. You can make yourself a go bag as well and they will let you take food too. If you have dietary restrictions you can let the front desk know when you check in and they will accommodate. We had a good stay here and it fit our itinerary. Picking a hotel in London can be tricky but the price, location, and room were right for us.

The room was small but very serviceable. Everything was laid out nicely. The reception area was great for traveling guests, especially if you had a few hours after check out before you have to go to the airport. They made so many unique little spots for all types of travelers. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and great location.

My husband and I stay here every time we are in London. The staff are the stars of the show - friendly, helpful and professional. The interior and exterior of the hotel are beautiful and the facilities are well-maintained. The hotel is conveniently located and a stone's throw away from Westminster Palace, The London Eye, Soho and miscellaneous shops, bars and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.
