MmotoppThis is my second time staying at Comfort Hotel Wakayama. It's conveniently located just a few minutes' walk to the right after exiting JR Wakayama Station. Check-in was quick and easy, and the room, though small, was well-appointed. The service was excellent, as always, and breakfast was delicious. We had a small unexpected incident during our trip, which is why I didn't take many photos, but the staff patiently and diligently helped us resolve it. We are very grateful for their assistance.

GGuest UserIt's on the 6th floor of Hotel Granvia Wakayama, next to the train station. Very clean and well maintained. The room is bigger than traditional capsule. The bath room had a big bath tub. The public area has a microwave oven.

The cleaning was well done, and it was quiet and very easy to spend at night.
During the day, the air conditioning in the shared dining space was cut off, and it was a little inconvenient that I couldn't find a remote control.

RRIKO0410Overall: This hotel is superb!
Location: It's about a 10-minute walk from Wakayama JR Station. There are restaurants on the south street nearby and a FamilyMart, but generally, the area feels a bit desolate. However, that's perfectly fine.
Service: Excellent! You can store your luggage. When checking in, you choose your breakfast and delivery times. We tried Japanese, Western, curry, and udon, and both of us thought they were all very good.
Room Amenities: This is absolutely incredible!
They even have a curling iron in the room! Plus, many other items like hair clips and hair ties – basically, everything you could think of is provided.
Additionally, on the first floor, they have various brands of shampoo and shower gel available if you're interested (there are also some in the room). Every day you can pick up some snacks and drinks on the first floor (limited per person). Although I never used this service because I was always full after eating out, I really appreciate it!
Cleanliness: Very clean!
Room Size: Satisfied! It's a very spacious room for Japan, with a separate wet and dry area.

TThomasThe hotel is situated at a secluded corner of Wakayama prefecture. It is much preferable to drive here rather than relying on the infrequent hotel shuttle. Public transport is otherwise non existent.
There are no restaurants around the hotel. However the hotel provides delicious meals with abundant fresh seafood. The in room dining experience is superb. The hotel staff service is impeccable.
The room has a spectacular sea view allowing you to see the sunset on clear days. The onsen also faces the sea which provides a relaxing experience.
A downside is that the hotel does not seem to sanitize the slippers for indoor use. All hotel guests had to change to their slippers to access their indoor facilities.

DDaduhouThe room was clean and the facilities were complete. The front desk gentleman was warm and polite to take me to the room. The location was not far from Wakayama Jr. The downside was that there was no elevator and it was not suitable for girls with large luggage.

GGuest UserSecond stay, as I moved to a non smoking room. The mattress in this room was spring and not as good as my other room but it was ok.
As I said in my other review, good products, good stay, it's not modern but it's comfortable. Very close to the station and food options within 5-10 minutes walk. Very helpful staff.

GGuest UserThe room is small and the location is remote, but the hotel scenery is really great! The hotel restaurant needs to be booked in advance, and there are no convenience stores nearby, and the restaurant is also far away. Remember to book a restaurant when you check in, otherwise you will have to go hungry. The hotel does not have Chinese service, and English communication is a bit difficult. The hotel's public bathing is free, and there are open-air bath seats. It was windy and rainy on the day I went there, and it was super cold. It was very comfortable to bathe. The location of the men's and women's bathrooms will be swapped, so remember to look at the sign at the door and don't go the wrong way.

夢夢想是環遊世界The hotel owner's service is generally the same, a little impatient, obviously the phone number registered on the self-check-in machine is not my phone number, I have not registered, I don't know what's going on, the boss said that this is a very serious problem. In addition, I wanted to cancel the reservation because of my stomach pain, but because the order is not cancelled and refunded, even if the platform communicated with the boss, the boss still resolutely refused, so I felt a little bad, I could only go there on the same day to check in 
Facilities: There is a bathtub, there are few places, the bed frame is wooden, the mattress is clean, there are small lights and small fans on the side of the bed, and the fan connection can be used as USB charging. There are two tables in the living room, wash basins, wash basins for combing, disposable toothbrushes, lockers, boiled water you can boil hot water yourself. The environment is 10 points clean, and there are not many people when I checked in. There are only two or three people in 10 beds.
