This homestay is located here in the boarding station. It belongs to a relatively large household. There are two toilets. There are enough rooms. Towels, toothbrushes, and the landlord have all prepared. The whole process is self-check-in. There is no problem. You need to contact the landlord. The whole process is very smooth. The children don't want to leave. There is a larger supermarket around, buy ingredients to make your own barbecue, very suitable for family or friends gathering

Facilities: Absolutely fantastic! Cleanliness: As expected from a Japanese hotel, impeccable. Ambiance: Elegant. Service: Warm and welcoming. This hotel was our first stop on our trip to Japan and it completely exceeded our expectations. Although it was a bit pricey, my family of three all agreed it was worth every penny. It honestly made all the subsequent hotels on our trip feel just 'okay' in comparison. We chose the 'one night, two meals' plan, and the D-type room came with a hot spring bath. The sushi at dinner was incredible – far better than what you'd get at a high-end restaurant in a major city (where you'd pay around 1300 JPY per person), and even better than the sushi we had in Sapporo and Tokyo. Breakfast was extensive, and the staff were incredibly polite and enthusiastic. We will definitely be back and will book the same hotel and room type again. This is the first hotel I've ever felt compelled to recommend; it's so much better than anything you'd find back home! It's rare to find a hotel that makes you want to linger and return.

When planning my first trip to Sapporo, I really wanted to include a hot spring experience. Naturally, Noboribetsu came to mind for hot springs, and that's how I found Hanaya while looking for a ryokan in the area. I'd seen reviews mentioning its location at the entrance of Noboribetsu made it a bit far, which wasn't an issue for us since we had a rental car. However, upon arrival, I realized it's not that far at all, and it's perfectly walkable unless it's extremely cold and snowy. The hot springs are separated for men and women, and the bath locations switch daily. Each gender's bath area has one indoor and one outdoor bath. Since the ryokan itself is small, if you time it right, you can often have the place to yourself. Maybe you'll encounter just one or two other guests? It's a genuine sulfur hot spring; remember to shower briefly before entering and keep towels and hair out of the water. You can't talk about a ryokan without mentioning kaiseki! We booked a stay for four people including dinner and breakfast, and dinner was kaiseki. It was served course by course, looked absolutely beautiful, and I found it incredibly delicious. For the price point, I was thoroughly satisfied. In the lobby, there are complimentary drinks available, including sake and beer, which you can enjoy as much as you like. Even though it's a small ryokan, they upgraded our room, and the staff were legendary for their kindness. It was a truly satisfying ryokan experience. I hope to visit again if I get the chance.

March 23, 2026 Three days in advance, I emailed the hotel to add king crab and steak to my booking. We had a great time at Date Jidaimura until just before closing, then took a cash-only bus to Noboribetsu Onsen Station. We arrived around 5:30 PM. Upon entering the lobby, we had to take off our shoes. The elderly gentleman at the front desk helped us check in and carried our luggage to the room, explaining the facilities along the way. We had dinner at 6:00 PM. We had to choose one dish from a few options, and we picked the local grilled fish. The fish meat was flaky white, very fragrant, and went perfectly with rice. The added steak was tender and springy, and the king crab legs had a slight briny taste, but the meat was very delicate. Coming here was mainly about soaking in the Noboribetsu hot springs and enjoying good food – a purely relaxing night. The next day, after checking out, we immediately caught the pre-booked direct Donan bus back to Sapporo. Before leaving, I bought a copper hammer charm from the Noboribetsu Onsen demon's hand at the hotel as a souvenir, haha. I also received a birthday card that the hotel had left for me in advance. It was a very satisfying hot spring birthday trip!

The hostel is very close by, right outside the station. The front desk staff are friendly, fluent in English, and will show you around and help you upstairs to your bed. Self-check-in is not available, so please check in before 9 PM! The first floor is a common area with a kitchen, washing machine, shoe cabinet, and seating area. The second floor has a female room, a mixed-gender room, and separate male and female toilets. You must remove your shoes before going upstairs, so the room is very clean! The wooden floors in the room look quite cozy, but they may be a bit old and noisy when walking. You can also hear noise from the next room while sleeping, but free earplugs are provided. There's only one power outlet by the bed, so an extension cord is recommended. The hallway is small, so it's not recommended to bring suitcases; backpacks may have to be placed on the bed. Breakfast is provided: thick toast, various jams, coffee, fresh milk, and cereal. 👍🏻 Luggage storage is free; the front desk staff will arrange for you to store your luggage. 👍🏻

It's a small hotel. There are two old people at the reception. The environment is very friendly and family-friendly. There are few people in the hot spring, so it is very comfortable. There are indoor and outdoor hot springs, and the water temperature is also marked. The experience is good. The breakfast and dinner are also rich, with many varieties and good taste.

Hotel Name: 登別Boudoir Noguchi Noboribetsu ”Love our stay.” The room was impeccably clean, serene, and beautifully appointed, providing the perfect traditional atmosphere. The highlight, beyond the relaxing onsen itself, was the incredible food—each meal was a masterpiece of kaiseki cuisine, using fresh, local ingredients. The attention to detail and gracious service made our stay truly special. We left feeling completely rejuvenated and can't wait to return.” (”The in room Onsen and the outdoor bath with a view of the garden was heavenly.”). Special thank you to a staff member “ YAMANE”, he is very professional, attentive and helpful.
