We have come to M residence many times and stayed in the hotel and apartment side so we have multiple perspectives. Downsides: The sheets on the bed weren't the cleanest, the table outside was filthy,, mosquitos in the bathrooms terrorized me the first night. I asked for room service but it was already 5pm so they said someone would come and nobody did.
The plus sides is this air conditioner works amazingly unlike the one from the apartment I renter here. The hotel provides drinking water, toothbrush, razor, you always have hot water for showers and fast internet.
Another thing much better than the apartment was that the hotel room came with a bunch of dishes for cooking and a tea kettle for hot water. The hotel experience would be a perfect score if the room was cleaner and prompt room service when requested.
I have to fly out in the middle of the night so I would extend another night but the price rose another 30% so I won't bother, but as someone who has stayed at the M Residence at least 3 times I would recommend it 10 times out of 10, my only advice would be for apartment renters to thoroughly test the bed and airconditioner before signing the lease. The apartments rooms are much better & I highly recommend regardless of the small inconviences
The M Residence beats out my favorite hotel in Phnom Penh because it's the best hotel your going to get for tbe price and you get a huge fridge!

I stayed at Norodom Clover Hotel and overall had a decent experience. The room was very big, clean, and comfortable, which made the stay enjoyable. However, there was construction nearby and the noise was quite loud, especially during the day. If the construction finishes, this hotel would be much better.

This was my first time in dorm # 2 and after not being vowed by the first impression (closer to the noise, door a bit slammy, no wash basin outside the two bathrooms) I had the luck of being placed furthest away from the door and around the corner, I actually prefer this dorm now.
I had the Spaghetti Bolognese with garlic bread and the portion was really small (see photo). I mean, pasta is so cheap, why not give people a good size portion?
You end up paying $6 for not much food right across from an All You Can Eat place for ($7.80).

The location is great, in a key spot in the city which makes it easy to get around and explore. There's an Aeon Mall right across the street, which is super convenient. Plus, there are lots of restaurants nearby and it's close to the Forbidden City. I'd give the location a 10/10.
Taxi availability gets a 9/10.
For safety, you need a key card to operate the elevator, so that's a 7/10.
There was a strong smell of smoke, a 10/10 for smokiness.
Cleanliness was a 7/10.
Overall, the price was acceptable.
The Snowbell Hotel is the result of joint efforts by three young professionals - a designer, a financier and a hospitality professor, who have worked for the entire year of 2018 in bringing pieces of hand-sketch into reality.
The hotel occupies a total of two high floors(28th and 29th) within the landmark Bridge SOHO tower, making it one of the best in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, for a bird’s eye view of the capital city, and Mekong river. The building also comprises of the highest swimming pool in the country. Located on the 39th floor, it is the perfect one to cool down and relax after a day out or start your day wet. Of course, all guests will have free access to the pool.
All rooms are from hand-sketch designs, with a minimalist concept, Nordic-style and a huge emphasis on quality interior materials. The three material elements defining the interior are wood, marble and rough linen, while the three immaterial ones are light, void and view. The local attractions that are few steps from Riverside and within a 10-minute walk of NagaWorld Casino.

It was a nice experience with this hotel. I stayed here several times because of the design of the room and nice service. My only problem is about the smell of cigarettes. Since we stayed as the family with kids, it was not so pleasant for them to stay with the smell of cigarette. And I just found out that almost 90% of the rooms have the smell of cigarettes, we tried to change the rooms so many times, but they are the same.

One of the only good things about this hotel is its great location. We booked a room with a window ( for an extra fee). Upon check-in we were informed that there is no room with a window available and that if we don't like the room we can request a room change. The receptionist offered no apology as if it is normal to get a room without a window even if you have paid for it. Since we arrived at 8pm we had no option but to accept it. No compensation in any form was offered. The next morning we requested a room change because the room stank of sewage. It was one of the worst rooms I had stayed in my life. The room was dirty and smelly, the walls looked as if they hadn't been painted for a decade and the furniture and bed were in need of renovation. Thankfully we were able to switch rooms but again no compensation was offered. The second room was a bit better.

No slippers in the room, and I couldn't find the TV remote, only the set-top box remote. The cleanliness needs improvement. On the plus side, the air conditioning is central AC, the soundproofing in the room is good, and the bed is quite comfortable for sleeping.

I booked a room here for 5 nights and then even extended my stay for another 2 nights. The hotel is located quite central in the city, so it is easy to get around.
The room was clean and nice. The staff is friendly and speaks English well and - not that it's important - the girls at the front desk looked really cute ;o).
In other reviews I read complaints about the hotel not having hot water (but just a rooftop solar water heater), which is true but was not a problem for me at all. Reality is that it never gets cold anyway and therefore the water also never gets really cold.
I recommend it and would stay here again - no doubt about that.

Surrounding by lots of restaurants. The security at G floor is the most helpful, second is the male receptionist during my first day arriving. The female staffs are not really friendly and never greet customers. They did let me do late check out because of flight delay
The room is spacious with free load minibar everyday.
One HUGE minus point of this hotel is the odor extraction system of this hotel is very bad. I dont think they have set up the right system. My nextdoor room cooked and I can smell everything in my room which is very bad.
I dont think i ll consider staying here again because of this

Great
GGuest UserBooked a room for three people. The room had one queen-sized bed and one 3-foot small bed. It was a corner room with a window and a balcony. The location was okay, 100 meters from the main road. There was free Wi-Fi. Breakfast was okay. The noodles were very salty. Overall, it was okay.
NNadine NFavourite Hotel Ever!! As usual, it never disappoints. Truly remarkable that this is my 4th visit and I still get the same exceptional service and staff remember me. It is nice that they treat returning visitors as VIPs and are willing to factor this in when considering certain concessions.
I had accidentally spilled my chocolate frappe on the sheets. The hotel charge me for the replacement cost (which was totally fair) and discounted the cost since I am their “loyal customer). I’m not saying they should always do this but it certainly impressed me that they considered all my visits and friends I’d encouraged to stay over. Besides this though they are still usually reasonable with such things.
Per usual, there is everything around to make your stay completely seamless from shops to pharmacies to restaurants, etc.
The room service is 24 hours and excellent. Quality produce and delivery.
Staff, especially check in are very kind and helpful. I was really impressed by the check-in guy as I land early hours of the morning and he was very efficient. Plus, they had switched on the AC and the room was very comfortable after the long journey.
Having written many reviews for this hotel, there is not much more I can say as they continue to improve and maintain very high standards.
My only complaints are that the pool closes far too early at 8pm. I hope the hotel could consider extending the time. Secondly, the 4th four does not have a designated smoking section so it can become quite thick with the smoke smell. They might consider arranging ashtrays at more places than just the lift.
A UM
Undoubtedly, my hotel of choice whenever I’m in PP. Thank you to everyone for your kindness and making my stay, once again, truly wonderful! 🌹🌹
DDwcwongHotel KVL is a solid city base in Phnom Penh with a good location and views over the Mekong River. It’s close to the main bar area and a weekend street market, but that also means the road in front is closed from around 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, so it’s worth checking how that might affect your arrival or departure. Make sure you get the exact room type you booked, as there can be discrepancies, and note that the water pressure is on the weaker side, though everything else in the room works well. Breakfast is decent with enough variety, and overall the hotel offers a nice urban contrast to the resort feel of the Park Hyatt in Siem Reap.
GGuest UserExcellent location. Friendly staff. A/C and wifi work very well. Beautiful view from rooftop pool. Comfortable bed. Bathroom spacious. Only downside is walls/windows are a little thin and can hear a bit of ambient street noise but unless you’re a super light sleeper it shouldn’t be a problem. Amazing value and would stay again

GGuest UserI enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is safe, comfortable, and conveniently situated in the Riverside district. It has a good cost performance (i.e. price-to-quality ratio). Not everything is perfect, but the staff makes up for it, they are friendly and helpful (special shout-out to Nita who is fantastic, she is the nicest person and she helped me with all my requests).
I originally booked a basic room until I found out a few days ahead the room had no window (I did not read the description carefully enough), so I upgraded for a “standard double room” with window. The first room I moved into did not have hot water. The hotel was not able to fix it, so eventually they moved me to another room where the hot water worked, which was great. The room did not have a chair and desk, but I asked the staff and they brought one. At some point, Nita helped me arrange a laundry load. It was done overnight and cost 3 dollars, so it seems the laundry is outsourced to a nearby business.
At night, the street can be a little loud, there are many bars, KTVs and nightclubs located here. But it did not bother me, I could sleep through it easily. Many of the bars have hordes of pretty women who, beginning at dusk, sit outside and come ask you to drink with them. They get your attention by shouting “hello”, “come here”, “handsome” and “bong” (mister) as you are walking by. In any event, this did not bother me, I never actually felt harassed and could come and go the hotel as I pleased.
The description mentioned the room would have a minibar, but my room didn’t have one. Probably I could have asked for it, but I realized I didn’t need one.
One morning, there was a visit by the police, they were checking visas and passports from all foreign hotel guests. This was unexpected, but it went smoothly.
Overall, I’m very happy with my stay and would probably come here again. Not everything is perfect, but I give it 4.5 stars (4 stars for the price/quality/location plus an extra half-staff bonus for the staff, especially Nita).
RRobsastarOn this trip I upgraded to one of their apartments and that made my week even more comfortable.. Very spacious, bath, 2 showers 2 toilets, 2 good aircon units and a small balcony overlooking Wat Botum pagoda.
A good family sized fridge freezer meant my drinks, milk meats and cheeses were cold.
Basic utensils but top tip, bring a normal cutlery knife.
Located on 4th floor, I woas treated to a spooky but spectacular lightning show without the rumble of thunder. Stood on balcony and had a fantastic view.
Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfasts still very good, simple but plenty. However going 'self-catering' allowed me to get my cornflakes and ice cold milk in the morning. Cannot beat that!
Next visit will see me booking an apartment only. So so convenient.
Again, Le Botum was a superb location for me.
Go to street 172. Plenty of expats....some characters too...and a 24hr supermarket called 'Smile' and you will. So much British stuff, it could have been anywhere in the UK.
Book Le Botum. You won't be disappointed.
BBellaN5The hotel is brilliantly located and has amazing views from the top floor. The rooms are large but with little hanging area. The beds are large and hard but comfortable. Room service and housekeeping is haphazard. Some days your room is serviced other days not.
The staff are friendly, breakfasts are okay but limited choice of fresh fruit and veg. The pool area is crammed with around 10 beds squeezed in to one side of the terrace but do have shade.
Great value and would likely return.
GGuest UserHotel located at hub of city, very convenience.Staff very nice attitude, talk politely. Will returned booking once got opportunity in future.
GGuest UserTurned up at 6am as arrived on the overnight bus. My 2 cabin cases were carried upstairs for me to my awaiting “pod”! It had a light, plug socket & usb socket and fan, clean bedding! I slept for 5 hours until I had to leave for my plane. Bed was comfy, slept like a baby. Didn’t have time to use the amenities but saw a pool, a bar, pool table, menus , plenty of games - looked like it would’ve been a fun time! Arrived at the airport and realised I’d left my backpack & laptop etc !!! Couldn’t find the telephone no: but sent a grab and the bar man helped locate it and I managed to get it before the flight! If only I’d had more time - looked fun !
