Overall, pretty good! The bathrooms could use some renovation.
The host is cool and fun – she speaks Chinese and Korean, but not much English. No worries, a translator app will help you out.
The location is a bit far from the city center. It takes about 40 minutes by bus to get downtown. The hotel is on a hill, surrounded by mountains, with clean air. It's about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop to the hotel, up a steep slope, but it's not too bad.
Anyway, if you prefer to stay in a private room, this is the best option for the price in Korea, rather than renting a bunk bed in a hostel downtown or near the city for the same cost.

Location is one of the best consider the price which is very affordable. I stay for 5nights however as they do not have many rooms, I think just 1-3 rooms per room types, they tend to sold out quite fast, which for my case, I have to change room type 3 times for the 5 nights stay.
Some room is very small, which is expected for the price and the location. Plus point is that, a huge window to look outside. Room heating is also good during winter time, also room is clean and tidy.
Only negative is that as I have to check out at 12pm and re check in again at 3pm if u have different room type, and staff may have different instructions on where to store your luggage. However they will bring it luggage to the room once it’s available which is good. Overall, for that pricing, no complaints.

Location: The location is very convenient, with direct subway access to Gimpo Airport and KSPO. Namsan Tower is also right nearby.
Hygiene: Overall, it was very good. The hotel interior was also clean.
Usage: Every time I wanted to use the elevator, I had to scan a new QR code that popped up to get it to work. Since I used it frequently, I found it a bit cumbersome, but it definitely makes it much more secure.
Facilities: I booked a bunk bed and I was on the top bunk. At first, climbing up hurt my feet, and then I realized the ladder was rusty and broken. However, since I was only there to sleep at night and was out all day, I didn't bother changing rooms. So, you might want to take some time to inspect it. The second picture might show it more clearly.

This hotel has 3 main advantages: 1. Excellent team of administrators, always ready to help 2. Location perfect: historic center of Insadon, near 3 metro stations, one literally opposite the hotel 2. Soft mattress, pillows and blankets. Ideal location to Bunchon khanok Village 15 minutes walk, to Mendon 20, all nearby. I will definitely stop again

The room is warm enough during winter Dec and the bed is comfortable. Breakfast choices are limited. Their cheesecake is nice. We can refill drinking water and hot water at the lobby receptionist area. We are sad that we couldn't have the hanbok experience during our visit. It is supposed to provide free hanbok experience for photo shooting. They just told me that it was sent for cleaning. We stayed 3 nights, and the hanboks are not available :(
Lastly, the rate for a luxury room is a bit over priced. Their location is able to walk to nearby attractions but we have to walk a lot. 15-20mins walk to hanok village.

I was a tad surprised 😯 when I saw my room. Room 508 was super minimalist - everything was function able. The loo was next to the shower. It was kinda tricky getting the right temperature for a shower. There's a fridge. Bedsheets are clean and bright. There was no funky or musty smells. Laundry is available free on level 3 and 4. Detergent can be bought for 1000 krw on the 2nd level - just make sure to adjust the dryer temperature to 50-70 degrees celsius. I especially like the Mei Tofu eatery below Ziyolk - the owner is Korean Chinese - lunch and dinner are sumptuous for around 11k to 18k krw. Just avoid peak periods around 11.30am onwards and 6.30pm if you're shy, introverted and dislike noise. All in all it's a stupendous deal to stay for cheap in a tiny room.

The room was very clean and comfortable. My only minor concern was the water pressure in the shower being a bit weak, which could be an issue in winter.
The walk to the station was a bit difficult due to the many market shops, but the room itself was convenient and I was able to stay comfortably. The refrigerator contained water and something like Real Gold, which I appreciated. The shower was also spacious. The building is quite old, but it was very clean!

The pros:
Just 5 minutes walk to the Hyehwa station
Very clean room
Breakfast and ice cream are unlimited
The location is very good with plenty of restaurants and Shops
Cons:
Can’t wear shoes inside the hotel and need to carry them. This creates an insane amounts of inconvenience
Overpriced rooms. On some Korean websites the price for the same room is half
Only the shower is there in the room. So need to use the shared toilet which has a weird lock that doesn’t really lock and can be opened from the outside by anyone as it’s not a real lock. This creates an insane amounts of inconvenience.
Poor soundproofing. I could literally hear what my neighbours are talking and hear people walking around in the all the night
There’s no windows at all
This makes it very hard to sleep
I don’t think I will ever stay here again unless there’s no other choice
Very Good

Great
RRoger Ow YongFirst time in Seoul and stay in hotel. Hotel was excellent: receptionist is helpful and courteous. Check in and out is fast. Hotel facilities is excellent too. Water pressure is high, with separate restrooms. Living room had a sliding door to close to separate restrooms and washing basin. Had a small vacancy is more than enough. Location is the best walking distance 2-3mins to hongdiv MRT station exit 9. Overall is professional and high standard of living. I surely with stay again for next trip to Seoul never regret . I like make commitment to housing keeping for the well done, receptionist will help to call taxi for customer . Well done !
TTharunKlWe had an exceptional stay at Nine Tree Premier Hotel Insadong by Parnas. The biggest highlight is its unbeatable central location everything you could possibly need is right at your doorstep. From shopping and great food options to easy access to buses and the subway, it truly doesn’t get more convenient than this.
The hotel is modern, very clean, and well-maintained, making it perfect for a comfortable stay, especially when traveling with family. The vibrant Insadong area adds even more charm, with plenty to explore just by stepping out.
The staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to assist, which made our experience seamless.
While it’s not overly pricey, it offers excellent value for money and is absolutely worth what you pay.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Seoul!
GGuest UserThe hotel boasts convenient transportation. You can take the airport bus to and from the airport, and the drop-off point is also where you catch the return bus, which is super handy. I took bus 6015 and got off at Myeongdong Station. After getting off, you'll see Subway Exit 8. Head towards Exit 8, and at the first intersection, turn right and walk straight. (Make sure you don't go past the CU convenience store; it's actually right opposite Exit 8.) It's quite close, just a few hundred meters walk. The hotel is also very close to our embassy, which gave me extra peace of mind. Every morning, I could see the embassy from my window seat. The room was a bit small; opening a 28-inch suitcase made it feel a bit cramped, but the hotel's cleanliness was good. The soundproofing was excellent; even though it's in lively Myeongdong, it was very quiet at night, which was fantastic.
GGuest UserMy stay at HOTEL BOTANIK's Deluxe King Room in Myeongdong exceeded my expectations. The room had a modern, apartment-style feel with brand new facilities and full amenities, making it ideal for those planning a longer stay in Seoul.
The in-room amenities were definitely the highlight. The air conditioning had a control panel for temperature adjustment, and it came equipped with an AirDresser, a washer-dryer combo, a separate fridge and freezer, an induction hob, and a microwave oven. Inside the cabinets, there was even a wine cooler, wine glasses, and mugs, giving it the feel of a small boutique apartment. Charging was also convenient, with both USB and Type-C outlets available, and the bidet toilet had a full range of functions. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation design, and the water pressure was consistent, making for a very comfortable shower.
However, there were a few things to note:
The kitchenware provided was quite basic, with only two plates, which might be insufficient if you plan to do a lot of cooking. Also, laundry detergent wasn't provided in the room, but you could purchase it at the front desk if needed.
There are several construction sites near the hotel, but surprisingly, the soundproofing was excellent during my stay, with no noticeable noise at night. My sleep quality was quite peaceful.
Overall, this hotel is more of a ”high-functional type” accommodation. The facilities are new and highly practical, feeling more like staying in a well-designed apartment than a traditional hotel. It made for a very comfortable stay.
GgobacktonovemberThe hotel is very nice + very newly designed hotel.
Pros:
-nearby the sinsa station/area (but required around 5-7 minutes walk there)
-Big and cozy bed for two people
-Toilet with good warm water
-Good amenities
-Good space for 2 luggages to fit (big ones)
-Has a very nice cafe on the rooftop to see seoul city
-Able to see seoul towel from our room!
What to improve/Take note:
-the staff service at night can’t really speak english so sometimes I don’t understand what they say abiutbthe deposit when checking in.
-No microwave/only fridge available
-The walkway is actually on the slope/hills (the picture doesn’t show that much that the hotel is on the hill so anyone who has big luggages or on snow time it is recommended to book an uber on the winter time)
AAmelaineWe enjoyed our stay at hotel manu. The room was spacious for 3, and did not have odor. I liked that every time they clean it, they leave a fragrant aroma to the room. The place was also quiet and did not have a lot of noise or caused any disturbance. They did not give free toothbrushes, but overall, the room was excellent and clean. They also provide netflix and youtube on the smart tv, which was a plus for us as well. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay.
BBokexierdienThe hotel has a great location. It's just two turns away from Chungmuro Subway Station Exit 8. Airport buses 6105 and 6011 also stop near Exit 8, making it very convenient to get to the hotel.
It's a fully self-service hotel with a self-check-in machine that has Chinese language options, which is super handy.
The room door uses a key code, which is easy to operate. The bathroom is very clean, and there's a slight step down from the toilet area to the shower, which prevents water from splashing out.
Myeongdong is also within walking distance. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Seoul.
AAnonymous UserStayed in a twin room in March. It was on the 4th floor, facing the main street with a tower view. The hotel's email after booking made the check-in process clear and easy to understand, which was helpful. Although the pre-arrival information stated that toiletries like shampoo wouldn't be provided, they were actually available in the room. Even though there was no Wi-Fi in the room, they offered pocket Wi-Fi rentals, which made my stay very comfortable. The toilet had a bidet, but the paper couldn't be flushed and had to be put in a trash can. This wasn't a big issue as I was prepared for it beforehand (the trash was collected when the room was cleaned). Considering the convenience, I would definitely consider staying here again.
MmunimunitantanThe room looks exactly like the pictures. The bed was really comfortable and clean, with no strange smells (housekeeping came daily to clean and empty the bins). The bathroom was spacious, making for a pleasant shower experience. We chose a quad room, and there was enough space to spread out my luggage. There are also lockers for valuables, but you need to bring your own padlock. The accommodation is on the third floor with no elevator, so it's a bit of a struggle if you have large luggage like I did. Also, the beds don't have curtains, which can make you feel a bit exposed. Since the room is small, any noise, like using the toilet in the middle of the night, is amplified, and I worried about disturbing others. However, for the price, I'm very satisfied! No complaints at all!
AAllysh@comfortable place...close to dongmyo flea market..have to wait for more money because it's random when walking, wash your eyes at dongmyo flea market..close to laundry..wanting to wash clothes in the middle of the night is ok..,,😂😂😂
