Hotels near Derlon, Maastricht

Great large room Directly opposite the Maastricht station and bus station Walking distance to spa grocery store and 15mins walk to city centre Stairs to reception, no lift to reception - not good for disabled people - apparently the other entrance was locked but it has a platform for wheelchair accessibility to the reception/dining room and the lift to other levels. That would have been helpful instead of dragging my suitcase and backpack up about 10 steps to reception. Not good for disabled people with heart condition and brain injury and balance issues. There was no buzzer to call for assistance and couldn't leave suitcase on the street. They need to provide instructions to guests with disabilities to proceed to the other locked door and have a buzzer on that door. Other than that everything was great

This is one of the nicer Backpackers I’ve stayed in. It has only one bunk in each pod so you’re really separate from everybody else. The location is three hours from Amsterdam although it is very very close to the train station I loved the free fruit and the outside areas. There was two nice garden areas. The only thing I didn’t appreciate or enjoy was I booked in so late at night and it just happened to be handover and the lady could not help me as she was busy counting her hotel and finishing her day so therefore I did not get my free welcome drink. I thought it was just the water on the bar when I asked if there was any food she said no and did not offer me any fruit which of course I realised it’s free so there was food. Another couple were trying to book in at the same time as me so I gave them the computer. I really wish that the woman behind the bar could have told me there was a second computer. I guess she was just having a bad day. I also had had a bad day although it’s not a competition, I had caught the wrong train from Amsterdam and had an hour and a half detour. All my own fault but I was absolutely shattered. I could not think straight when I got there and needed a little help to check In. Highly recommend doing the caves and fort at Saint Petersburg. The social hub is well born. The atmosphere is relaxed with a nice mix of students and tourists and digital nomads. Rooms are large and despite central location it is quiet. Beside the door park and robbery top floor perfect place for drink & sweet and beautiful view!

We stayed for 3 nights at the Garner Hotel in Maastricht, intending to have a good place to sleep between our bike tours in the area, and also wanting to thoroughly explore Maastricht. We primarily chose it based on price beforehand; it didn't have to be the cheapest, but definitely not in the expensive segment, and this seemed like a suitable hotel. Upon arrival, we were honestly pleasantly surprised: a very friendly welcome, clear explanations to all our questions as inexperienced hotel guests, and it was super well-arranged that we could store our electric bikes indoors in a separate room where they could even be charged for free. Furthermore, there was a fantastic breakfast buffet every day, and also a great 3-course set menu daily with really nice choices for only €37.50. This was especially nice on the first day after our journey. Additionally, the room was 100% neat and clean, with comfortable beds, a TV, and wonderfully fresh air thanks to central climate control. All in all, a truly excellent hotel for the price.

Hotel environment was good BUT : 1. Check in and check out timing. Four o'clock is very late for a check in. Global standard allows checking In as from 13.00 hours! Eleven o'clock is very early for checking out. Again global standard sets check out at 12.00 with possible extension to 14.00 hours. 2. The room was supposed to be ” comfort plus”. I experienced no special comfort or extra comfort for that matter. Room was standard in terms of size and equipment. 3. Reception staff allowed the ”concession” of checking out at 12.00 and went to considerable length stressing that it is a gross exception! Not the right attitude for a service organization.

Great castle hotel in romantic surroundings during Christmas holidays ❄️🎄we has also our christmas dinner and breakfast included. Rooms are specious , clean. Shower is amazing designed. Definitely coming back. We're Dutch and Vietnamese . Great done Vaeshartelt 🇳🇱🇻🇳❤️

I choose this hotel because it is just 5 min walk from train station. And also very close to shopping and dining area. Check in is all automatic and is very easy. Room is big and clean the location makes it one of the best hotel for traveller

This room with four single beds is larger than the bunk beds and more comfortable. Don't save that little money when traveling with a family. You should choose a larger room. It is simple and hygienic. The front desk is friendly. I left my luggage at the front desk for safekeeping the next day. I also noticed that the place where they put the luggage needs to be swiped by the front desk before entering, which is safer and more reliable.

I temporarily chose a hotel near MECC. The hotel was good in all aspects, but the surrounding area was a little quieter. But this is basically the case in small European cities, and it’s normal. Health and food are good. Business accommodation is acceptable.

The hotel staffs are super sweet and helpful. We‘d booked the family room and turned out very nice with the sleeping arrangements but the shower was a bit strange that as it as very open means no door ans it’s not really suitable for family thou. And the room sound proof is very bad we can hear everything too. location is great and if you don’t mind the noise it’s definitely a good choice.
