"A family resort full of kids, probably suitable for their needs, not ours, unfortunately. Not really the best experience for a couple trying to enjoy their stay. Both inside and outside pool full of children, ended up not swimming at all. There was only a buffet dinner available at the restaurant or some small snacks at the bar. We paid 15eur each for a ”caesar” salad, with the ingredients: lettuce, bread crutons, some burned bacon, chicken resembling a prebaked chicken from Lidl unfrosted from the freezer, and caesar sauce. Breakfast had some more choices, and gladly some fresh fruits, but no fresh juices like in all other hotels during our stay in Portugal, only the cheapest orange juice you can probably get. Even though the staff was very nice, the resort is quite run down looking and rooms very basic. Probably an ok stay for a family with smaller kids, couples try somewhere else."
"A delightful find, totally by accident-looking quickly for a 2 night stay while in Portugal and plans changed. Must have a car though as it is a bit out of the way. Rooms were large and well appointed. Comfortable and quiet. Good breakfast and convenient to Sintra and the surrounding area."
"The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the station. I arrived around 4 PM, and the front desk said it would take about 20 minutes for my room to be ready. However, the hotel was having a lucky draw, and I won a free drink at the hotel cafe. After finishing the drink, I could get my room key. The single room was fully equipped, and check-in was no problem."
"Wir waren zum ersten Mal im Flag Hotel Abrunheira und waren sehr begeistert.
Personal sehr Freundlich, sehr gute Lage, alles Neu und Sauber sowie ein absolutes ausreichendes Frühstück Buffet..
Preisleistung ist sehr gut und zu 100% empfehlenswert.
Viele Grüße
José Franco"
"The hotel front desk staff are very pleasing to the eye, the service is efficient, and as always, it is fast. It meets expectations. The hotel has ground parking and underground parking. It is free to park on the ground and 3 euros per night in the underground"
"Style, quiet, new super beautiful boutique hotel!
I liked it very much. For such a price, just a gift. The perfect bed, I slept like a princess. Everything was thought up to the tiny things inside."
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It was a truly satisfying stay!
The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable, allowing me to get a good rest. The staff were all friendly and responsive, making my stay a pleasant one throughout.
The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options, and I was very satisfied with the well-maintained hotel facilities. The location was also great, making it convenient for traveling around Sintra.
If I visit Sintra again, this is a hotel I definitely want to stay at again. Thanks to this, I had a truly enjoyable trip. I highly recommend it!"
"The hotel is very close to the railway station, and it is easy to find it according to the navigation. The outside courtyard is beautiful, and the lobby and public areas are also beautiful. However, because it is an old house, there is no elevator, and if you live on a high floor, you have to carry your suitcase to go up. This is basically the problem in hotels where you live in old houses in Portugal. We booked a suite with a small loft and a small balcony outside the loft with a nice view. Breakfast is their own coffee shop, not with the place where they live, it is very close, less than 5 minutes. Breakfast is Western style, with bread, cheese, desserts, fruits, a cup of juice and coffee per person, which is quite hearty."
"The garden-style hotel is large and comfortable, with large and clean rooms and free parking. It is relatively in the middle of the city, Belém, and Sintra, and is very close and convenient. There is convenient parking everywhere in Lisbon. If you are driving to Lisbon, this hotel is highly recommended."

DDONGPINGThis is my favorite hotel in Portugal. It is not big but well-equipped and the staff is very friendly. The hotel has an unbeatable sea view and is suitable for family trips.
GGuest UserIt's so beautiful. Opposite the hotel is the Atlantic Ocean and the beach. The sun shines on the balcony. Sitting on the balcony, feeling the sea breeze, watching people lying on the beach and playing volleyball on the beach. A comfortable life.
MMilenaTcobiExcellent facilities, spacious room, huge and very comfortable bed. Supermarket very close by with a good selection of ready-made meals that you can heat up in the kitchenette in the room. And a large terrace. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will return.
MMar4MorTop notch Hotel with extraordinary views!!!! I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone I know! In particular the breakfast was beyond phenomal! The staff was incredible and so friendly and customer oriented! BIG thank you to folks in Front Desk and Tiago I believe who manages the morning breakfast spread... I got sick and he recommended a pharmacy close by and I was able to get some very needed medication for my congestion. What an amazing group of folks. We stayed in several hotels throughout our trip and BY FAR, this was the BEST HOTEL!!! I would stay there again in a heartbeat! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND! AND THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH Tiago for your kindness and for the lemon tea which helped me alot. Blessings to you all!
GGuest UserVery good! The hotel is very new, and all the service staff are very friendly! The environment is very comfortable, clean and quiet! The room is very spacious! The swimming pool and restaurant on the rooftop are very comfortable. Since the sun sets at 8 o'clock, you can bask in the sun until 7 o'clock when the swimming pool closes! A very pleasant resort hotel, very close to the station, very convenient to Cascais! There are many breakfast options, very rich! You will definitely not be disappointed, and I will definitely choose to stay again next time!
AAnonymous UserStandard three star hotel. Fantastic location and easy to get to all the main sightseeing stuff. Some aesthetic issues in the room. Cigarette burn in the cloth headboard, bathroom sink bowl wasn’t bolted down, and the top rain shower head didn’t work and the shower area had mold. Pretty standard European two single beds pushed together, no bigger than a dorm room mat and about as soft as a box spring. The air conditioner controller is just for show, the main staff has control over it. But other than a hard bed that would split down the middle having you fall through and in between the mattresses, a hot room, and a bathroom sink almost torn from the fixtures and nearly dropped on the ol toes the staff is amazing and the just having the sheer proximity to the lively restaurants and beaches overshadowed any of the negatives
GGuest UserRoom was moldy, hotel stinks really bad, breakfast very poor choices, the only good thing about this hotel is the view. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anybody.
CCarolyne_fsWhen I saw the hotel in a NGO, I was scared, but when I arrived at the site I was glad with care, care and zeal for the environment and everything that is done there. The rooms are enough for a short stay: clean and comfortable. The hotel is in front of the beach and I made a very pleasant walk around. If you are looking for an accessible place for a short stay, go without fear.
DDinaI had a nice stay in the hostel, it just feels like home and everyone was friendly and accomodating. What I really like was the location because it was just close to the beautiful Carcavelos Beach, shops and metro station are also nearby so it was very convinient. Another thing that I like about my stay was the amenities they offer like the kitchen where you can cook your food anytime, they also have a swimming pool, a spacious living area where you can watch tv or just chill with your phone or laptop. I would difinitely recommend this hostel and would probably stay here again on my next visit to Portugal.
