"Axil Hotel has been my choice for the last few years now. I always stay here. The staff is really helpful and friendly. The swimming pool is really nice. I always recommend this hotel for your stay.
Keep smiling and Enjoy your Day 😊"
"The hotel is surrounded by the sea on three sides, and it is very good for vacation and leisure. You can see the sun rising on the Atlantic Ocean... There are a lot of eagles here. Whether hovering, swooping or perching, eagles will make you remember them with a special call. The service is very good, the breakfast provided by the hotel is very good, the pool is also very good, the service is great"
"Ibis is much better than the local hotel at the same price, sharing a small courtyard and a garden with Novotel. Can choose the sea view room, very quiet, recommended."
"Short stay for hospital visit staff very helpful as my husband could not walk good due to back injury they helped order food etc lovely and clean would stay again"
"It's very good in Senegal. The room is a suite, just right for my colleague and I, quiet and undisturbed. The location is very good, travel is convenient, and there are many delicious foods around."
"Modern location right in the heart of Dakar with an excellent breakfast and outdoor pool make Novotel Dakar a strong choice for both business and leisure stays. The staff are generally warm and helpful, and amenities like free WiFi and parking add convenience. However, some rooms feel dated and the check-in process is occasionally slow, so it may take a little patience to get full value."
"If you live downstairs, it will be a little bit tidal. The hotel's towels feel old and the room has a tidal taste. The biggest feature is that the sea is directly outside the balcony, and you can listen to the sound of the waves every day."

NNTDialloExcellent stay at this brand new establishment!
. The rooms were wonderful and spacious offering a Cozy bed was also a huge plus!!
. The staff was highly efficient, accommodating and true examples of exceptional service.
. The food was ok. We didn't experience the breakfast buffet since there were very few guest, so this was totally understandable.
They didn't miss ANYTHING on this one and spared not one amenity. From energy efficiency, luxury accommodations and beautiful decor. I recommend Sama for your visit to Almadies Dakar.
GGuest UserThe cleanliness is top-notch, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They’re always available to assist, even outside their working hours.
A couple of suggestions: it would help to have more visible signage or a pinned location on Google Maps. Also, I’d recommend including the power top-up in the room rate.
WWJElondonA nice spot of paradise among the chaos of dakars hustle and bustle. Amongst the higher end experiences price wise it is somewhere worth visiting alone for the comfort and accommodation of the team at Boma lifestyle hotel and attached YouYou restaurant. Fantastic atmosphere on weekends which are great for a cocktail as well as great food options that accommodate somewhat towards a European pallet for those not looking to stray to far from home. My girlfriend who is from cameroon recommends the Mafe for more traditional flavours where, I had the Yassa Poulet which would suit many visitors with is rich onion base. For those looking for a comforting European touch any of the pizza options will suit alongside a cold pint of gazelle. Utilise this hotel as a resting place to visit such sites as Ngor, goree island, the African renaissance monument, the pink lake, sandaga, and nearby visit the surfers paradise at hotel virag for some chilled entertainment of local and foreign surfers alike. For a nice meal that touches several west and central African pallets head to maison B. Exceptional hospitality alongside fantastic food, cocktails and shisha all at an affordable budget. For pastries head to Graines d'or a five minute walk from the hotel. And also head to happy Happy Hour & Degustation across from Jgo and maison B and see what cameroonian meals are on offer alongside some drinks an socialising with their owner. The petrol station next door provides a variety of snacks and beverages including cheap alcohol and a cash machine.
ZZoltansWell located, quite central and near to Goree Island ferry. Breakfast is quite limited, just croissant/French bread with butter/jam and juice/tea/coffee, although there are usually some more options for dinner. Relatively helpful staff. Some rooms can be noisy, like 111 where there seems to be a staff changing room beside it, which often turns into almost a party from 7:30-8:00 am with the chatting/music from phones ...
RReneReneThis is the second time staying at this hotel , it’s a good clean place to stay with a certain charm . I think it’s run by a French family. Convenient location and a nice restaurant on the roof for dinners, I highly recommend this place
AAnonymous UserThe room was neither too big nor too small, the window could not be opened and was also very small, which made the room very damp, and the bed was a bit soft. The wash basin and the desk were together, which made it easy to get the things on the desk dirty, but it was a very cost-effective hotel in Dakar.
GGuest UserI had a problem with my visa when arriving at the airport so I was not able to left the customs/airport and I informed the hotel, and they refused to help me to cancel the reservation which was just for 1 night due to connecting flights. Then no support for the customers so will not consider this hotel for other occassiobs
EErik LeuthäuserReally loved my stay here. Super friendly and helpful staff. Amazing room with a nice balcony. AC was great. My favorite was the pool on the rooftop and the variety of the breakfast buffet. Can absolutely recommend staying here.
AAizal JulkreeDakar is the place i’ve known only when i play video game in my Play Station. The game ‘ Dakar 97’ is my first knowledge about Dakar. Which is the rally racing in year 1997. It is quite an amazing video game and now i’m here in Dakar.
