Genuine hospitality and quality pervades every single aspect of the Haldenhof. Exceptional food (breakfast and dinner.) Room was large and comfortable with a lovely balcony overlooking the Omeshorn and lech river. The hotel is in an excellent location overall with close proximity to lifts/town. While there, we met some fellow travelers that had stayed at the Haldenhof many years in a row. People tend to return here for good reason. I plan to do the same!

Our best ever hotel experience. This family-run hotel is a gem. The owners were warm and welcoming, the staff were attentive and fun, the rooms were comfortable and inviting, and the common areas were conducive to interesting conversations and the making of new friends. Oh, and the food was sublime. We were first-timers, while most guests have been coming for years, and in some cases, for decades. And it's easy to understand why. We will be back.

A wonderful holiday! From the moment we arrived we felt special and looked after. We were met at the door by the owner Michael who had our cases transported to our room. We were then warmly greeted by his lovely wife, Claudia and shown around. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were very helpful and friendly. Our room was on the top floor and had lovely views of Lech. Although it was quite small it had everything we needed and was immaculately cleaned every day. The food was magnificent! Every evening we had different food to try. It was all served to our table by the cheerful helpful staff. Breakfast was a buffet style with lots of choice. As we went with Inghams travel we also had a packed lunch each day which was great to take on our walks. We also enjoyed the cake that was served in the bar every afternoon! I enjoyed using the small pool and sauna after walking. We had recommendations about where to walk and tips about which places to stop for a rest/drink. The Lech card (part of the Inghams holiday ) was great and saved us lots of money when catching the local buses and cable cars. As this holiday was originally booked for July 2020 we had waited a long time for it. We weren't disappointed and came away with lots of lovely memories. Thank you Michael, Claudia and your fantastic staff!

An exceptional hotel in Lech - the reviews on Tripadvisor are spot on. The first thing that catches the eye is how absolutely clean and in excellent condition everything is, perhaps in part due to recent work and renovations but primarily because the team seems to take such good care of the facility. The brand new sitting room/bar is lovely and successfully blends the traditional chalet look with a more updated vibe. The spa also is completely new, with an attractive "vitality" pool (i.e., a pool with some jacuzzi jets and lights that change color), a sauna room with three private sauna suites and four relaxation alcoves. The primary dining room is white table cloth and attractive, with a small buffet area. Finally, the small lobby area is bright and attractive, with a large touch screen on which useful information can be obtained (such as the local ski map). ROOM: We stayed in room 10, a deluxe junior suite on the fourth of five floors. This room must have been just newly refinished as it was pristine (even the grouting in the bathroom was immaculate). The room consists of a primary bedroom and, separated by sliding doors, a sitting room with two couches that easily convert into double beds. There is also a nice balcony and a spacious bathroom (this room has shower only). Having caught glimpses of a few other rooms, they seem to vary somewhat in layout and decoration, but each room looked to be in tip top shape. FOOD: If I were to have a beef with the hotel, it would be with the food. Not because it wasn't well prepared and interesting - it was both - but because I just don't want to eat fancy, soft food night after night (so many reductions and gelatines and steamed vegetables) - it just felt at times like there was nothing for the teeth to grab on to. Worth noting that you could skip a dinner at the hotel and instead eat at one of the restaurants in the town, though of course that might not be desired by all members of your group - some might wish to eat at the hotel on any given night while others would wish a hearty stew! To satisfy everyone, it would be worth considering if, in addition to the two primary entree options offered each night, there might be a third more casual option (pasta bolognese, veal parmesan, small steak) with more home-style cooking than gourmet. It might also be nice to have two really excellent appetizers instead of three small ones and a salad and then soup each night. These are really minor gripes and reflect more my personal preference for hearty food over gourmet food every night, so you might find this perfect if you are looking for night after night of fancy food. The breakfasts, on the other hand, were much more to my style. In addition to the fairly traditional buffet with various breads, salami, cheeses, muesli, fruit and the like, there is a nice menu from which you can select eggs, waffles and other cooked-to-order items. It was a very nice breakfast and basically enabled us to spend the day without a

This the main restaurant of the excellent Haldenhof Hotel Lech has a superb kitchen with a chef who really knows a thing or two. He combines wonderful flavours with a degree of finesse and lightness of touch that really inspires the palate.

It’s not hyperbole to say that the Haldenoff is the best hotel in the world, bar none. The hosts, Michael and Claudia, and their attentive, warm, and caring staff make the Haldenhof our home away from home. Every year we look forward to our stay and dream about the delicious meals and warm welcome that greets us upon our arrival and remains throughout our stay. The staff is so kind and friendly and takes care of us effortlessly. While the skiing in Lech is terrific, we’ve returned every year because of the warm service, beautiful rooms/dining room, intimate gala night, and welcoming spirit at the Hotel Haldenhof. It’s a special place, and I can’t say enough good things about the food and wine menu. Thank you, Claudia and Michael, Rebecca, Beth, Peter, Florian, Ollie, and everyone who make our stay so memorable. A very special thank you to the talented Chef Georg Parr, who always offers delicious alternatives to accommodate my husband and son’s food allergies. The care at the Haldenhof Hotel is truly second to none.

The previous outstanding reviews were not wrong. I have been fortunate to stay in many international hotels and this ranks up at the top. I am not easy to please and I was blown away. The personal attention upon arrival continued throughout the stay. What really makes the place is the quality of the service and the friendliness of the team. A particular call out for Melissa who was attentive and helpful at all times. Food was excellent, and we appreciated the efforts made cater for a pescatarian and vegetarian. I believe you have many repeat customers and we will be one of them. We look forward to it.
