A beautifully renovated building with luxurious style, this genuinely is a boutique place to stay. A spacious and airy bedroom with large en-suite shower room, there’s space to work, relax and sleep.
Breakfast is amazing value at under €15 - a feast that’s freshly prepared and presented in the Fire Café next door (there’s an indoor route between the two buildings, served by staff who are friendly and very helpful - perfect.

We loved our stay in the Catshuis. The location is fantastic. The room is very spacious and beautifully decorated. I loved it that we had to check in next door in the cafe. The staff was very friendly and helpful and carried our heavy bag upstairs. The breakfast next door was delicious. You can basically get anything you want. Overall the stay was one of our highlights on our trip and we will come back one day.

A beautifully decorated new hotel in the center of Leeuwarden. The check-in went very smoothly in the cafe next door, including an explanation of the history of the location. Nice and spacious room. There is a parking garage 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights and it was really great! Very nice rooms, friendly reception, good food ... really nothing to complain about. Leeuwarden is also very cozy, it is an absolute must for a pleasant weekend away.

We enjoyed our stay at the Catshuis very much, due to a combination of location (in the middle of the city), beautiful spacious and modern rooms, good food, both an extensive breakfast and an extensive dinner menu with tasty drinks. This was our base for a few great days in Friesland. In the area you will also find a few beautiful authentic shops with clothing, home accessories and books.

The room on the first floor is spacious with large windows that cannot be opened (which makes them sound-insulating); the rust-brown sunshades outside are beautiful. Centrally situated; there was a fridge, spacious hall, safe, coffee, milk and tea, all fine. the toilet is in the bathroom and the door to the bathroom is not soundproof. Large spacious walk-in shower. Very friendly staff; nearby parking Oudenhove (paying). We had breakfast in the beautifully situated eatery "Stek" and had a nice meal on the boat in front of the hotel. Recommended!

Nicely decorated, nice and spacious and clean and in a beautiful location. Breakfast also nice and even a la carte instead of buffet, also with waste, so perfect. Would definitely recommend the hotel. Oh and the bed slept great, am 2.02 and was just big enough so exceptional.
