"I had the most wonderful stay at Hotel U Leva while attending a homeopathy conference in Levoca. It was the perfect base – calm, beautiful, and rich in atmosphere. I had every opportunity to enjoy not only the architectural beauty of the town, but also the remarkably high energy radiating from nearby Mariánska hora – a deeply peaceful and powerful place for reflection. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, cared for, and truly at home. The service was absolutely excellent – warm, attentive, and multilingual (English, Slovak, Polish – which made communication easy and natural). My room was not only spotless, but also exceptionally spacious, cozy, and up-to-date. I truly appreciated the thoughtful design: a proper wardrobe for unpacking, plenty of space to breathe and settle in, and a beautiful, modern bathroom – perfectly clean, no insects or surprises. Everything felt fresh, peaceful, and well cared for. And the breakfast – just wow. I was genuinely surprised by the quality: freshly squeezed vegetable and fruit juice (yes, you could make it yourself!), delicious bread, fresh fruits, amazing coffee in many variations, and vibrant, nourishing options all around. A true morning joy. The hotel also offers a safe and convenient parking lot, which my friends used and appreciated. As someone traveling not only for work, but also for inner learning and rest, I found this space ideal – quiet, inspiring, and grounding. The owners have created more than comfort. They’ve created a space with heart. I’m deeply grateful for this stay and can’t wait to return."

"We travel a lot, but we never met such unpleasant hotel owners. We came to the hotel and said hello, but nobody answered. There was one girl at reception, but she looked like she does not see us. After a few minutes came other women, say no hello, and just asked for the passports. We put them to the reception desk and wait. She did not take our ID cards, she set at the computer and solved another passports and let us wait without any word. We were tired and wanted to go to the room so we asked for the keys. She gave us a room on the 3rd floor so we asked if there is a lift, she said there can not be a lift because it is a historic building. I understand why there is no lift, but don't understand why they are not helpful to bring the luggage to the room. The room smelled of cigarettes, was dusty, non-functional light in the corridor, and an offline fridge with a warm sect :-). The door to the shower was only for small people. When we asked if they have a room with a shower where my partner "fit in", we get no answer. We went for a walk and when we came back to the hotel the owners waited for us and told us that if we don't like it they give us the money back and we can find another accommodation. It was around 22:30! I thought when she started to talk that she wants to offer us another room. It would be a nice hotel after some innovation but with different management."

"This is a hotel in the best place with the whole village in the picturesque. Everyone is friendly and the food in the restaurant is delicious. Instead, there is no convenience store or mart, so you have to buy it."

"Overnight stay for an early flight, the hotel has a huge reception which could do with some plants and flowers to make it feel a little more welcoming. Its location is very good and only a short walk to the main town and Forum shopping centre. The rooms are very basic, you have to ask for a kettle and cups for tea and they don’t provide any tea bags or milk. Breakfast, the hot plates and food even at 7am were only lukewarm however, there was a reasonable choice of other items so not a problem. Taxi to the airport 7 euros and only a 10 min drive."

"Good hotel for business trips. The rooms are very clean and good equipped. Nothing to complain about. Very good breakfast. There is just a 10 min walk to the main square and the train station id next door. The only thing they could really improve is an air condition for the room. They get quite hot in summer."

"We stayed here in the second half of March. It's a great hotel! I liked the spacious parking lot, good internet, well-equipped rooms, great breakfasts, proximity to the ski lifts, and the staff is just beyond praise! I would also like to thank the woman who was at the reception all the time. Low bow to you! The location is about 600 meters from the ski lifts. It's a bit difficult to walk with ski boots on, but if you have the desire and strength, you can get there. There are a lot of restaurants near the hotel and a supermarket. Among the disadvantages, I can note a slightly cluttered facade and the area in front of the hotel, as well as the lack of a chair in the room."

"The hotel was beautiful, I was really surprised, the food was fantastic, I have probably never eaten better fish, there were also tourists from abroad, the hotel staff was very pleasant and kind and overall I rate this hotel very positively and I definitely recommend it to everyone to stop there."

"The hotel is rather far from nearest town with not much to do in the evenings. Staff was not very friendly, rather strict to the point, not all speak English well enough to serve. Room was so OUTDATED, small, carpets need to be replaces no faciliteis in the room- really disappointing comparing to the hotel lobby and shared areas. Pool area was really good and they also have sauna. Prices are rather high for the dull room you get. Dinner was ok, not more but it is better that you reserve a half board since you have no restaurans around and the roads are not the best to drive at night. Overall experience- you better choose a different one."
