Convenient location, good rooms and VFM but with the dual carriageway and McDonald's opposite this seems to be a mecca for racer boys with noisy exhausts and that's all we heard all night. Car park was full of McDonald's rubbish. Not a good look and easily addressed. Nice rooms and friendly welcome though

Went sight seeing in and around Eastbourne. Was a good quiet location. Staff were lovely. Clean rooms. Very helpful and friendly with the children. Asda express was useful with young kids! Really enjoyed our stay and got a few nights of good sleep.

Needs a full refurbishment, stains everywhere & the cleanliness was diabolical - with thick dust & cobwebs

I never could get through to the front desk via phone, customer service was terrible, who would put a family room up flights of stairs having to carry two toddlers and a baby up stairs. At breakfast the lady was snippy and short with me and told me I had to order now before I’d even had chance to look at the menu otherwise I’d have a long wait when I said I wasn’t ready yet. Also pretty sure there was a rat outside in the bushes when was sat outside having dinner one evening. Then having dinner another evening I ordered a medium steak and it practically came out mooing , this was corrected and apologised for.

Had a lovely stay. Staff and service was lovely. The treacle restaurant across from the hotel was fantastic we ate there most of the time.

Good location 10 minutes from Eastbourne. Usually service station facilities. McDonald’s just over the road and Treacle mine for larger meals. Clean rooms friendly staff reasonable price. Quiet night sleep. Extra pillows quilts provided.

The environment outside the hotel was very noisy of the frequent motorcycles sound until 1-2am, however, we could not close the window because of no air conditioning that unable to sleep the whole night. Moreover, there was no network signal at the hotel, unfortunately the wifi did not work as well.

I ended up being here in two separate stays. The second time my room seemed moderner. The first time the bathroom was a problem: slow draining bathhole, not great flushing loo and variable/ spurting water pressure. There a macdonalds as well as a pub restaurant next door and a service station with a decent little Asda incorporated.

We tried a Premier Inn for the 1st time and the experience exceeded expectations. The Meal Deal offering a breakfast and dinner is highly recommended and excellent value. Will be going again
