Cavern Quarter Apts - 31 North John St

Great night away for boyfriends birthday perfect for what we want. Only issue was that I didn't have the code to get in and when I rang they had been trying to contact me through ******* despite me booking it through trip.com, staff were very quick to sort out the issue and get us into the apartment

Absolutely amazing apartments.. right beside Mathew Street... Absolutely everything you need is provided. . spotlessly clean and comfortable...Will definitely stay again.

Location was great close to city centre but located right next to bars apartment was overall safe and clean and spacious

Nice, clean and spacious property. There is some street noise as expected but nothing major. Internal noise can be a bit loud from other doors banging and families.

The location of the apartment was great. However, the noise was just relentless and yesterday ended at 0400. Nothing you could do about it. However, the one thing you could do better is ensure that pots pans plates etc used by previous people are clean. I found most of the things I needed to use had to be cleaned beforehand.

Location was excellent, very clean but unfortunately the shower did not work properly, the hot tap did not function properly.

The property and rooms itself are what was expected. However, they did lack some love inside lots of scuffs and marks on the walls, the Bed wasnt a king/queen it was a small double and it wasnt inkeeping with the headboard or the furniture in the apartment. Unfortunately it wasnt the cleanest, lots of dust around carpet edge and on skirts, we found a bit of rock hard donner meat on the carpet by the sofa when we entered the living room which made us wonder if the property had been cleaned. Location is great if you are in liverpool for a night out. However, it is extremely noisy music goes on until the early hours 3/4am and the traffic/taxis constantly beeping horns throughout the night. It didnt really bother us as we was out for the night and both heavy sleeprs. But we still got woke in the early hours when we gonin from our night out. Communications from property was great, the only thing that seemed odd was the £150.00 holding charge and need for ID and proof of address before any property location or access information was given. The charge was taken even prior to receiving our ID and Proof of address, not really sure when this will be released back into the bank as weve bot been told but im going to assume it will be 3-5days. So this is worth considering when booking.

Excellent apartment the only downside was the smoke alarm in the bedroom kept on bleeping every 5 mins which distrubed sleep at night time

Apartment was great for size, clean and in a fab location but ... live music in the Wall of Fame bar directly underneath did not finish until after midnight. This is in a busy part of Town (which can be a plus) and had it been on a weekend then fair enough but this was on a Wednesday night!!! Also the blinds were new/clean/smart but they were basically for show as they let sooo much light in due to street lights on all night. A real shame as the apartments are safe and smart but the bar downstairs (which we've been in loads of times and love it there!) means I probably wouldn't stay there again midweek. However, I would stay there over a weekend as would be able to sleep after a few drinks.
