I booked a single room for 2 days. The price is reasonable and staff are surprisingly sweet. Although there are no lifts so I should carry on a big suitcase to 4 floor( not recommending have a big suitcase), but room was cozy and other services are great!

I had a wonderful time here. Great location, clean room, nice and well equipment, reasonable price(for staying in London), what else could you ask for. The staffs are all very kind and the front desk is 24/7. As a solo female traveler I felt really safe and had been well taken care of. Highly recommend this place and will definitely visit here again if I come to London again.

Good place to stay, staff is amazing

Firstly, upon check-in, we were informed by the receptionist that the room we had reserved, a Basic Twin Room with 2 Twin Beds, was unavailable. Instead, we were given a room with only one bed. This was a clear deviation from the reservation we had made and significantly inconvenienced us, especially considering we had traveled from Los Angeles with large checked bags and were exhausted from the journey. Adding to our frustration, the room was located on the fourth floor of the building, which lacked an elevator. This meant that we had to navigate multiple flights of stairs with our heavy luggage, exacerbating our already tired state. Upon expressing our concern to the staff, we were initially met with resistance. The receptionist argued that the room with 2 twin beds was not available at the time of our check-in and claimed that the single-bed room was an upgraded version offered to us at no extra charge. However, after further investigation, it was revealed that the room we had originally booked was indeed available, indicating a lack of attention to detail and organization on the part of the staff. Subsequently, we were required to relocate to the correct room, resulting in additional inconvenience and wasted time. Moreover, upon settling into the room, we discovered that it was not adequately cleaned, with stained sheets and overall poor cleanliness standards.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here and it has not failed to disappoint. It’s traditional, friendly and so convenient. A short walk from Hyde park and we also walked through the park to the Royal Albert Hall. It has a quirky feel with its quaint decor and lovely garden. Close to Notting Hill too and a 20 minute walk to Portobello market. The apartment had everything we needed and the staff were very friendly with a bonus of 24hr reception.

We were only here for 1 night but for some reason had been upgraded from a double to an apartment. The space was huge and had everything we needed. There was a dressing table with a mirror and a plug socket beside it which was a plus…so many hotels don’t think of this! The only negative was the double bed….it was ridiculously soft so super uncomfortable! I ended up with a sore neck for the next couple days. Other than that the hotel was perfectly situated for our needs.

All rooms have a little kitchenette. No elevator so book a ground floor room if you need one. Great staff with 24 hour front desk coverage.

lots of stars in the property - was no problem for me but just to point out to others who it may be an issue for. Great place - decent price, top locations for transport and exploring London. Many resturants and pubs all nearby.

It was very nice and tidy, in a good location and reasonably priced for London. The only two things worth mentioning are that it has a lot of stairs and that at night you need to toggle the hallway lights on in order to see in the hallways. But would recommend the stay.
