Victoria Inn

I Stayed at the Victoria Inn on business in January and it was a very pleasent experience. Both the room and food were of a good standard and the staff were all very pleasant. HOWEVER, I have booked for another business trip in March on granted a none refundable rate of £113 but unfortunately I have just been informed of a funeral in Manchester on the day I was due to stay. I spoke to a lovely guy at the pub and asked if it was possible to move the booking back two nights (which was also £113). He tried everything in his power to make this happen, but even though it would cost them absolutely nothing the manager simply refused to move it under any circumstances. It has now however cost them money as I will not be spending any money on food and drink and will be finding somewhere else to stay the two days later and for all my future business trips to the area. All in all a none hospitable manager working in hospitality, £113 gain for them this time, but their loss in the long-term.

Pleasant Pub with narrow rooms. The bathroom was completely restored and warm. Close to the train station of Peckham. Few shops, residential area. Hard for parking.

Very convenient for visiting immediate area, pleasant staff, bar area spacious and comfortable. Stairs to rooms could do with a spruce up, room very good would always go back👍

Rooms: Friendly staff. Attentive - served immediately at reception despite the pub being busy. Clean room with enough space, a couple of chairs and a desk. Pub: Great atmos - something for everyone - a few young families dining alongside high-spirited drinkers - a great mix Negatives: Nothing much negative - perhaps a little pricey for a room in a pub.

Fantastic value for money. Great pub, spacious room, lovely location and the best fry up I've had in a long time.

The hotel staff was lovely and the room was great. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay as a solo traveller. Great location for a hospital appointment at Kings College Hospital and not far from centre of London. EVERY staff member was warm, welcoming and beyond helpful. (Sorry I cannot recall anyone’s names) Room was clean, stylish and comfortable. The evening meal and breakfast were absolutely outstanding. Staff arranged a taxi for me to get to appointment as there was a train strike. Would most definitely recommend and will look forward to staying again.

Although the breakfast start at 7am, but the chef always come later. If you have tight schedule, it’s better to have breakfast somewhere else.

We stayed at the Victoria Inn for my daughters 18th birthday celebrations as she wanted to visit a nearby horror themed escape room and the train strikes were on. The Victoria Inn staff were all super friendly and welcoming and it is a lovely pub as well as being a nice place to stay. We stayed in the luxury rooms which were a nice size with really comfy beds. The bathroom was lovely and the shower was nice and hot with shampoo etc provided. What made our visit was the staff really, I would stay there again if I was visiting Peckham. We paid extra for the breakfast but at £10 each it was superb. Definitely recommend!
