Very satisfied with a hotel, worthy of this price. When I made a mistake at the time of booking, I saw that the room information showed that the facilities for the disabled were provided, and I didn’t think about it. I found that it was a special room for the disabled. It was really embarrassing. . . Before the check-in, the hotel contacted me via Ctrip and asked me about my check-in time. My answer may arrive at noon, which will be far earlier than the hotel's check-in time. The reply will be arranged according to the situation on the day. On the day of the check-in, we arrived at the hotel around 11:00 and they were all ready. Thank you very much! The hotel was originally remodeled by the bank and opened only last year, new and atmospheric. There are seven or eight restaurants in the hotel lobby, and the taste is comprehensive. Geographically, it is located in the downtown area, walking close to the hotels around the Thames, and next to the subway station. The decor of the room is completely classic British style, the details are carefully polished, very special and very like. There are no less than 20 kinds of bath products, which is extremely luxurious. I saw a comment on the book saying that the sound of the music downstairs was noisy, but the actual experience was completely unrecognizable. The sound insulation of the window was well done. The sound of the door next door was noisy. This may be the only fly in the ointment.

I’d never stayed in a holiday inn before and found this hotel on booking.com. I booked to stay here for 2 nights for a weekend in London with my partner. Check in was smooth and quick. The staff were polite, efficient and helpful. Our room was very clean and just what we needed and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was nice and spacious and there was shower and hair gel available to use. There was a notice on the bathroom wall which I thought was a nice touch to say there were disposable razors, toothbrushes and shaving foam etc.. available from reception if you had forgotten any toiletries. There were plenty of clean towels in the room, a hair dryer and an ironing board and iron to use if needed. The only slight issue we had was that the TV remote was missing but I am not going to mark the hotel down for that at all because when I reported it to reception it was dealt with swiftly and the maintenance man was at our room within ten minutes with a spare one. It was nice and quiet where we stay we had no disturbance at all. Breakfast was good there was a hot buffet breakfast, with fruit, cereal, croissants, yoghurts and toast available along with orange juice and apple juice with a good range of hot drinks available. Our room was tidied after our first night which surprised me, but I thought it was nice. The bed was made while were out and the towels, tea and coffee were replenished as well as the bin emptied. Checking out was fast and easy. We had a nice stay and it was a great location for us and I would stay at this hotel again when visiting London again.

Ibis Styles London Southwark - Near Borough Market

London|0.36km from Tate Modern
I stayed here while I was doing the London Marathon. I'd booked it quite far in advance (the moment I'd got a ballot place), so I got it for about as cheap as I could get it. Overall, I'm reviewing it from the perspective of both a London Marathon entrant and a regular guest. Some thoughts: LOCATION: The location is pretty good; you're a short walk from Southwark Bridge and the City, as well as the Shard, Borough Market, the Globe and London Bridge station on the south side of the river. Indeed, the fact that it was so close to London Bridge station (the trains from there are probably the best way to get to the London Marathon start lines) was essentially the reason I booked this place. All in all, the location cannot be faulted whatsoever. ROOMS: I stayed in one of the standard rooms, and it was fine. Nothing too much to complain about, but nothing too wild to rave about. The bed could have been a bit comfier, and I think the layout could have been slightly improved to have allowed more floorspace (maybe shrink the bathroom a bit and have a combined toilet/shower room?), but I get that this is a budget(ish) hotel in Central London and space is a commodity. DECOR: Themed to movies and musicals! A fun design, and there were some cool touches here and there, but it was a little cheaply done in places, which detracted from the experience. If this is what constitutes a price difference between ibis styles hotel a regular ibis hotel, I'd probably stick with a regular ibis hotel in future. STAFF: Staff seemed fine. Helpful if a bit reserved. BREAKFAST: Rather disappointing if I'm honest, especially from a marathon runner's perspective. The breakfast options are essentially continental, which in principle is fine, especially given that the clientele for this hotel seemed to be largely Continental European more than British. However, it would still have been nice if they'd offered a few uniquely British options, in particular porridge (I had to sneak in an instant porridge pot down to breakfast on marathon day, and saw other runners doing the same). Also, the quality of the stuff on offer generally speaking was a bit hit or miss. Powdery cakes, gloopy jam, a disorganised buffet, and some really odd things on offer (who has hummus and sliced red pepper for breakfast?!?). Another beef I had was the breakfast opening time on marathon day itself. I, as well as many other guests running the marathon, basically had to descend on the breakfast room at opening time (7 am), which was practically as late as we could have gone for decent pre-marathon fuelling for a start time of between 9:30 and 10:30 am. I really think they should have opened breakfast a bit earlier as a one-off. My parents decided to come down as well and stayed at a nearby Premier Inn, which started serving at 5:30 am. While I don't think they needed to go that far, starting breakfast half an hour to an hour earlier (akin to the weekday start times) wouldn't have gone amiss. Given that the

It’s student accommodation which becomes a 3 star B&B when term is out. So you won’t get any frills But to do get a decent sized room which is 1/3 of the price of all other Hotels around Central London. It’s is also in an excellent central location directly behind the Tate Modern and the Thames (opposite St Paul’s) and 6 minutes by Tube from Westminster - it’s nearest station is Southwark which is within walking distance. We got a triple room with an en-suite toilet and shower. There are lots of plug points, storage and good free wifi, It is safe the area around it is well lit plus you can leave your baggage for free if you have arrived early. It has plenty of lifts and the restaurant canteen area is massive. You also get a fully comprehensive breakfast, there is a queue but they do pretty much everything you can imagine. There are also lots of restaurants, pubs and cafes nearby. It has no TV and the air conditioning is a bit on the hot side but apart from that it’s well worth it for a place to crash in London. There is also no mini bar, maid service or fridge it really is geared for people who just want to go out.

Great place to stay if you visit London. The apartment is very large and is well equipped and very clean. We even had 2 bath rooms. The bed was very comfortable. Enough space in the bath rooms to put your shampoos and other items. An elevator is in the building and there is a reception 7/24.You can store easily your luggage if you arrive early or depart lately and there is even a larger toliet on the ground floor that you csn use before check-in or after check-out. Only a few steps away from the river Thames and the milllenium bridge. Many shops and restaurants nearby. The Shard and borough market is only in a 10 minutes walking distance.

Spacious room and bed was really comfy. Air conditioning didn't work well and we could not lower the temperature in the room which made it stuffy. The bathroom was very tired looking and really needed a refurb. We ordered some room service at 11pm as we were late checking in first night. The menu literally consisted if 2 items. We ordered a panini which was disgustingly bad. We expected more choice and certainly better quality. We complained and the hotel agreed to refund us but still waiting for the refund almost 6 weeks after. Breakfast was really good and made the most of this to make up for the poor food the night before hand. Its buffet style also which is great if you are proper hungry.. Staff were pleasant and helpful, just not sure about the security guys at the front door who look like they don't want to be there and struggle to even say hello, which we felt was very odd.. My review is neutral, we've stayed in much nicer places in London around the same price.

We had to stay one night in London and chose the London Hilton Bankside because it is a really clean, comfortable and quiet hotel. With gym room and swimming pool which is perfect to relax after a busy day. I would recommend this hotel regarding price for what you got is really good.

The hotel room is small, and two people are enough. The self-check-in on the first floor is very convenient. I have lived here in New York before and I like it. Close to Tate Gallery and Boluo Market. Because the uber is used to go out, the public transportation is not very clear.
