The two personnel who provided services to me was simply easy. My issue was resolved so fast that actually i had no issue. Both individuals should be commended for their superior support and services and should be brought forward to higher responsibility, they displayed extreme professionalism and exuded true traits of being bright, quick thinking and very articulate. These traits are the epitome of an organizations success. 10 rating that comes with care and true concern for their customers. Excellent property and staff! Thanks and see you soon. Room 106 is extremely comfy, I know I was there.

After a 6 hour drive we arrived at the Travelodge by Wyndham in Long beach CA, only to find out they had given away our room. They claimed we had a “bad card” as they had tried to take the money before we had arrived. We had no notice of cancellation from hotels.com nor had the hotel tried to contact us directly. We had no notification from the bank about a declined transaction which we would have and the card we used requires a pin because we are from the Uk and this was in USA. We asked for proof of cancellation and on the note it says we cancelled the booking when we obviously didn't. They had just lied. Because we were so tired we ended up in a horrible smelling smoking room, which we paid for with the same “bad card” we booked with in the first place. No apologies and they tried to blame it on us. Put a real sour note to the end of our trip. After a 6 hour drive you need somewhere you can trust and this isn’t it. Recommend booking somewhere else, we will be in future.

The hotel environment is very good, dining on the beach. There are long scenic paths along the coast to enjoy. Sitting on a sofa by the water during the day is great! There are flames at night. The floors are not too high, and it is convenient to go up and down. Next time I go, I will choose here.

There are two family hotels in Long Beach. This one is located by the sea. The other one is next to the airport. I have stayed at both hotels. It was the first one I lived in. The one close to the airport was not comfortable and the cost performance was not high. The parking fee plus the room charge added up to nearly 1800. My room can't see the sea yet, I booked a double bed, but gave me a double bed, and I was too lazy to change ~ The room was still clean, the cooking utensils were very complete, and the check-in staff was very enthusiastic But the air conditioner was too noisy, basically I couldn't sleep well all night! For breakfast at 9:30, there is no more food, the waiters can't wait to pack up and go home. Go early if you have breakfast.

The service all around was great, but I didn't appreciate the dog barking in the middle of the night. Even with the dog incident I would definitely stay again.
