An unforgettable experience; staying in a Tulou was incredibly special. The host was incredibly welcoming and even gave us helpful tips for our trip! The Tulou itself was meticulously maintained. The room was great and very comfortable. Although our room didn't have an en-suite bathroom, we had convenient access to one in another room. Stepping out, we were greeted with beautiful views of the Tulou's courtyard and the sky. At night, once the Tulou closed to visitors, it became incredibly quiet. The red lanterns were still lit, creating a truly captivating atmosphere. It was also very convenient that we could freely visit the nearby Chengqi Building at night.

What an amazing experience! It was so cool to actually stay inside a Tulou. I was lucky that my room even had an en-suite bathroom! The owner was incredibly kind; they waited up for me despite my very late check-in. Since I specifically traveled all the way from Taiwan, the owner thoughtfully lit up the beautiful red lanterns for me, which looked absolutely stunning in photos! They also helped me take pictures and booked my bus ticket down the mountain. They truly go above and beyond to care for their guests! A huge thank you to the owner! I had such a wonderful time. If I get the chance, I'll definitely bring my family and friends to visit again!

The location is excellent, right next to the King of Tulou. It's very quiet at night, and the stars were beautiful. Of course, staying in a Tulou comes with its unique set of quirks. It's a rare and special experience. We went in with realistic expectations, and I'd advise others not to set theirs too high. Nevertheless, it's an experience well worth having.
