"This was a truly terrible experience, awful in every way. We booked two family rooms, which cost over a thousand [currency unit]. In the middle of the night, the AC stopped cooling, and all four kids in our two families were so hot they couldn't sleep. We had to open our room doors and walk into the hallway just to feel a bit of coolness. It was 00:41 AM, and it was so bad. We didn't dare try to switch hotels at that point, but we honestly wanted to. I've stayed at four or five of the Baisheng hotels in Xiamen, and they've all been great. But this one in Longyan? It was worse than a motel. It feels like the hotel was trying to save on electricity by turning off the central air conditioning. Honestly, it's just bizarre and ridiculous."

The quilt core has turned yellow and has a smell. 3. The towels and bath towels are hard. It is estimated that they have not been replaced for many years. They are all broken, but they are still in use. 4. The paint on the bed back has faded. It would not be worn like this in 10 years. 5. The wooden boards for decoration have rotted. 6. The carpet is hard. It is estimated that it has been many years. In short, the price-performance ratio is very low, especially the bedding, towels and bath towels are particularly uncomfortable."

He shared stories and local insights making the whole experience even more meaningful. The room was simple yet clean and comfortable, blending rustic charm with basic modern comforts. I got to enjoy authentic Hakka meals, lovingly prepared and bursting with homestyle flavor, perfect after a day of exploring. Waking up in the peaceful village setting, watching the locals go about their daily lives, and hearing the birds chirping outside, it's a rare, soulful escape from the city."

"The facilities are outdated; there was hair on the bed sheets. Despite being advertised as newly renovated, the materials look like they're from years ago. The toilet and washbasin are in the same area, a combined wet and dry area, which is inconvenient. Charging cables in the room require scanning a QR code to pay – something from several years ago! There were a bunch of drinks on hand, which is misleading; tea is also charged for – the first time I've encountered this. The overall hygiene needs improvement, and the service concept needs to be updated."

Shortly after placing the order, they called to confirm if we needed pick-up from the high-speed rail station, but since we were driving, we didn't need it. However, the service was excellent, so we highly recommend it! The front desk staff were very friendly, the breakfast selection was plentiful, and they even offered late-night porridge – great! The room was clean and tidy. Although there were high-speed trains passing nearby, the soundproofing was excellent and it was very quiet. It was probably the most comfortable night's sleep we had during our trip – highly recommended!"

Later, when I came out of the shower, I found the bathroom was also flooded, and the water hadn't gone down by the next morning. The room had no Wi-Fi, and the room phone was broken. I called the front desk using my phone, and they said they'd send someone to fix it, but no one came all night 😥. It was a terrible experience! The room wasn't cheap, the facilities were old, the carpet and chair backs were yellowed and looked dirty; I didn't even dare sit down."
