Very nice and comfy hotel! The staff was friendly, the breakfast was very good and fancy! My apartament with a breathtaking view of Maggiore Lake was big enouth but the sofa for the kids wasn’t so comfortable! My kids liked the pool!

It was our 2nd time at the Sunstar Hotel Brissago and it was as delightful as our first visit last year. It's a small hotel (30 rooms or so) and it provides a nice retreat. The best part about Sunstar Brissago is their staff - they're super welcoming, friendly, efficient and ready to go this extra mile to make guests have an unforgettable experience.

We could not have been any happier with our short summer holiday spot and with this hotel, great location directly at the lake with a small private beach area, very very clean rooms with a brand new bathroom, great service and delicious food from the breakfast menu to Tapas for lunch to the rich dinner menu and the local beers offered. Also, super friendly and helpful staff who help with all the additional needs we had when travelling with a small child.

Very efficient and friendly staff. Quick and effortless check-in with a huge surprise for us : They upgraded our room from a Junior-Suite to a Suite! We had a very large terrace with a lake view... Thank you very much again :-) Excellent breakfast and romantic atmosphere for dinner at night next to the pool with sometimes live music. They served also very good cocktails. We enjoyed their beautiful outside and indoor pool with sauna and steam bath. We can only recommend this very fine hotel!

Efficient and friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms in a beautiful location. We enjoyed every moment from our arrival to departure. The front desk staff were exceptional in the way they handled covid regulations. They translated, provided direction and advice and ensured our stay was just perfect.

Take time to go to the Tourist Office on the main Street of Brissago - they have maps and good advice about what to see and do.The town is compact with lots of places eg museum, art gallery close to the hotel. Do spend time on the Isle of Brissago, easily accessed by boat - lovely drinks and ices in the out door cafe.

Nice reception by Marion, perfect Chef de Service from Salzburg region and its staff from Italy and Vietnam, a background dinner music, good food and breakfast, room service as it should be, in short a perfect stay, with a lovely room with balcony and lake view. Parking, please take your city car and not your RR or Cadillac, a bit tight but no problem.

Very good hotel at a fantastic location with great staff. Very good breakfast with a variety choices. Fantastic dinner and good winelist. We loved the pools and spend a lot of time swimming, both outside and inside.

The hotel is very clean and well maintained. However, the building is quite outdated. We were basically satisfied with the stay, but the dinner did not meet our expectations at all. In this price range, more can and should be expected. I was not at all convinced by the beef tartare or the beef ribeye. The side salad of the tartare had a fishy aftertaste and the (most expensive!) main course was in my opinion anything but freshly prepared. Therefore, I would not stay in this hotel again. The ratings are overrated by Swiss standards.
