We enjoyed staying at the hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful! However, it was a pity the hair dryer had a connection problem:-(

Second time here in 8 years , arrived after dark , so got settled into our room and unpacked , but the AC was set to 26degrees so a bit uncomfortable , spoke with reception and was informed that AC is set for winter time and only option was for them to disconnect our room which we were happy with , opted for our meal to be served in the A’Lacart restaurant , we settled off a Caesar Salad for my wife and a Panko Chicken and Gorgonzola sauce, both excellent all washed down with a nice white wine. We went BB this visit as last time done 1/2 Board and we wanted to experience the local good establishments , but a very nice comfortable hotel , my only gripe is that it doesn’t have its own bar as such and relies on the cake / coffee shop attached to serve alcohol , but this closes nightly at 22.00 hrs making the need to frequent other establishments .

The hotel is clean and modern. The rooms are very well decorated and comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming nothing is too much. The location is amazing. The food weather in the hotel or one of the many restaurants/ cafes is outstanding. This place is one of the best kept secrets of Croatia.

This was my 6th visit to this small hotel near the entrance to the marina in Makarska. The accommodation is very comfortable, clean and regularly maintained. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Special mention should be made of Dragana Selak and Renata on Reception for their excellent and helpful service. The young waiters serving drinks in the outside cafe area are very friendly and efficient. Breakfast is very plentiful and serving a variety of options for everyone's tastes. The service for dinner in the restaurant was not quite up to their usual high standard, partly due to the large number of guests who were there on full board. The layout of tables to accommodate the requirements of these guests resembled a canteen. This impacted on those guests who were on bed and breakfast terms and wished to dine there from the a la carte menu. They were not able to sit at tables of two, four or more, and they seemed to be served in lower preference to the full board guests. This was unfortunate as the quality of the food on this menu is very good and varied.

Beautiful hotel and we had a fantastic huge room with balcony looking out onto the sea at the side of the hotel. Room was immaculate and beautifully decorated in neutral colours with comfy chairs to lounge in plenty of wardrobe space and free safe. Bathroom had bath, rainfall shower and hand held shower. The bath quite high so for elderly or disabled difficult to access but they did have hand grips. An internal bath mat to avoid slipping would be a good extra to add. Good hairdryer in bathroom too. The hotel is maintained immaculately and is a very beautiful hotel inside and outside. Staff were very friendly and smiling. Unfortunately the food and service at dinner let it down. First night at dinner my main course was presented to me whilst still eating my starter and I am not a slow eater. Second night asked for wine list was told you don't need that just have the house wine!! The food was actually quite tasty. We were the only diners in the resturaunt for quite a few nights then we went out for a couple of meals. On return to eating at hotel the resturaunt was full each night but they had started to provide a buffet type meal, help yourself basically. Salad tipped into a bowl with tomatoes sliced over it not my idea of a great dining experience , lasagne and chicken that looked dried out and not very tempting a plate of dry cakes for dessert no cream custard or ice cream to help it go down a plateful of pancakes all stuck together that you had to pull apart with either Nutella or fresh fruit to accompany. Not my idea of a resturaunt meal. Sat at table for at least 15 mins had to ask for a drink as the waiter passed us knowing we had been there for quite a while. I don't think they had enough staff to cope to be honest and sadly for these reasons I would not return.

A lovely boutique hotel in a perfect location for exploring Makarska. Located right on marina with easy walking to the cafes and bars on the front. Also a quick 5 minutes to the stunning old town with amazing restaurants and shops. Walk along the front and keep following the coastal path to the beach again with cafes, shops and a little train to take you to the end. The hotel is spotless and the staff are polite and attentive and cannot so enough for you. Dragana the manager arranged our transfers prior to arrival, wine for the room as visiting for a special occasion ans breakfast boxes as we had an early flight. The pool is small but that’s the o again spotless. The breakfast so much choice and will make your choice or eggs or an omelette! Drinks reasonably priced. Can’t wait to return to the beautiful hotel and town.

This Hotel is set on the Marina, a stones throw away from all the local restaurants and a quaint square. The staff were extremely friendly, The hotel is very modern and extremely clean everywhere. The pool area is small but we were able to get sun beds most days, only once did we have to go to the pebble beach due to the beds being in use. They could add more beds an remove the chairs that don’t seem to be used at all. I will be returning next year for sure.

I cannot rate the hotel high enough. Staff were very accomadating. The hotel was very clean. I went halfboard and the evening meal was 3 courses in the attached restaurant, the food was excellent. Though the pool was a bit of a disappointment, mainly because of the 'Towel Brigade' taking the sun longers.
