This was our second visit to Luna Park, the first one having been very disappointing, however, everything was very good this time and the staff very pleasant. A great place for a long weekend and Barcelona is easily accessible by train, the nearest station being about a 15 minute walk away.

The receptionist was far from welcoming. Inside the door of the room was a large grill that was absolutely filthy. The sink had no plug and the toilet seat wouldn’t stay up. The restaurant was more like a school canteen - not worthy of a 4* rating. When I complained after my stay to Bondia Hotels they were so rude - I couldn’t believe it. Needless to say, I will avoid anything Bondia in the future

My wife and I spent four nights here as her birthday present from our first daughter. What a treat! Clean environment, excellent food, warm and courteous staff. A special appreciation to Saima and her restaurant team. They are stars! We highly recommend Luna Park as a great place to stay for a restful and eventful holiday in Barcelona.

We stayed in this hotel at the end of September and beginning of October and had a great time. Clean hotel room, good and varied food, very well maintained pools, elevators with panoramic view, everything was great. The hotel staff was very friendly, especially Saima who made our stay much more pleasant.

Wow. This review is only just as we have arrived. Just fantastic service. Reception were so helpful as I was a very frazzled late arrival. (MAD ENGLISH WOMAN) And they calmly explained how to check in. How to get the parking sorted. We arrived late and the staff helped us order a takeaway pizza as the restaurant had closed. And kindly let us order a 2nd drink after the bar had closed. It is a beautiful place.

First of all we want to thank Saima and her restaurant team for their brilliant hosting during breakfast and dinner. We stayed for one week in the Luna Park Hotel with our little baby and they really took good care of us and the special needs travelling with a baby. Saima was a very good supervisor, she‘s really making her job excellent and she is a warm and kind person. The whole service team at the restaurant and at the pool bar were helpful, nice and diligent. Especially the barbecue guys were great- the food was delicious. Also a big thank you to the cleaning ladys, they made a great job. Nothing to complain. Warm regards from Diana,Vedran and little Gabriel from Munich/Germany. Hopefully seeing you next year! Adios🙋🏽‍♀️

If you come to the Lunas Yoga and Spa resort for some, as they say “slow travel” you might find that you will leave with your chakra’s so far misaligned they now resemble the pebble ash tray they say is the local beach. On arrival expectations were high as we thought after two weeks on the road through Europe this would be our opportunity to relax and reset before the last leg of or trip. Instead we found that we would not be staying in the ‘yoga and spa’ hotel as we thought but in fact the 3* family oriented hotel adjacent. Further more, the double bed we had booked might look suspiciously like two single beds, like we were 8 year old children in boarding a school. We were then told that we could pay an additional £120 to “upgrade” our room to the spa side of the hotel and get our double bed. This made no difference finding ourselves transported back to the 1980s with the eras defining styling and decor. Our day begins as you would expect on your Yoga and relaxation stay, with some of the younger cohorts of yogis returning from what I can only assume was a late night meditation session in the local town at 2.30 am through what I can only assume is rice paper walls separating the rooms. We try and return to our slumber ‘zen’ing’ away the sounds of teenage vomiting in the adjacent rooms. As the sun rises so do we (but a few hours behind the sun, it is slow travel after all). We make our way down

I have just left Luna Park and I have mixed feelings about my stay. That was my second stay and I did leave a positive review last year when I went with my husband. This I went on my one, mainly for the yoga and it was a different story. Let’s start with the positive. I’ve really enjoyed my yoga sessions so thank you Beatriz and Kirsy for your hard work. Kirsy, you’re a star! You made me discover and appreciate Ashantanga and your bath sounds sessions were extra special. Your teaching, patience and smile made me feel better about my stay so thanks again! This time, I was half board and again I’ve enjoyed the meals. There was plenty to choose from and the restaurant staff were all hard working and pleasant with everyone. So, thank you restaurant team! Now the negative! I had booked a standard room with a double bed through loveholidays and paid £716 for the room for the week but I was given a tiny room with a single bed that looked more like a hostel room ( photos below). When I went to reception and spoke to a lady, she first said to fill up a request to seen what she could do the day after. The day after, I was told to contact my agency to sort out the issue. Loveholidays had pocketed ththe money of a standard room but booked me that awful single room and the male receptionist didn’t want to help me in any way. In my point of view, he should be given the award of the worst receptionist in Calella for his lack of professionalism, being unhelpful, contradicting himself and telling me lies. Wifi didn’t work during the whole stay and he said twice that he would do something about it but again, nothing. The blond lady with curly hair had always a smile and made many promises that she didn’t keep! I was their top priority and they would move me asap but even when their booking centre advised them to do so for the last couple of days, they didn’t. Finally as I was going to check out at 7.30am so 30 mins before breakfast time, I asked whether I could have anything to eat and she replied that she would ask the restaurant to prepare a packed breakfast but there was nothing for me! It is a shame that the reception team weren’t really below this time and they made me feel very miserable. Would I go back? To Luna park, NO, the club, maybe for the yoga but definitely not on my own. Not taking any risk again!
