The Sheraton is Maoming was “interesting “. Location wise it’s about an hour away from the station and once you get there . There is really nothing more than another hotel and this one. There’s a beach you can’t swim in and local restaurants in the resort that are over the top expensive for what you’re getting. The views from the hotel room are amazing. Constantly reminding you that there’s no swimming at the beach. The hotel offers hot springs for about 68 rmb p/p, really recommend doing that if you’re daring enough to go there. We initially booked 6 nights but our stay got cut down to two nights , for many reasons . The front desk was super amazing, so was the staff in the restaurant. Oh !about the restaurant the breakfast is limited, but the food was really yummy. I wouldn’t suggest the pizza or pork chop rice . Really not worth the coin. For 750rmb a night, I would think again.
