Molo Luxury Suites Puerto Banus

The hotel is not a hotel, nor a pension with a reception. We must warn our arrival time in advance so that someone can deliver the key. Inside Puerto Banus (the charming city of high luxury) has a terrace with views on the mountains. After 2 weeks of holiday in Croatia and Sevilla, we chose this hotel (unable to call the hotel) the most faced of the whole journey to choose these days. AirBnb without service (worry breakfast) in a charming city. I don't recommend anyone !!!

Came here with a group of friends for a golf trip and we had a good stay. Staff were very friendly and professional, nothing too much trouble no fault there. Rooms were large and very clean, beds were comfortable and housekeeping were spot on. But, these rooms are dated, some lights didn’t work, air-con was also broken and it just looked tired. No iron in the room, you have to get this from reception, either return it straight away or pay a 20 euro deposit…. Really! In this day and age, no iron in a room for a 4 star hotel is strange for sure. Food wise, breakfast was good, plenty of choice and all fresh, lots of tables and plates cleared away nice and quickly. Pool wise, nice enough, sun beds appear tired but other than that it was good All in all it was a relaxing stay but would we go back, probably not, could be easily a 5 star resort but needs a good polish.
Gran Hotel Guadalpín Banus

Just back from a week at this hotel, we were impressed by the quality of the service. I have stayed at lots of five star hotels in the past and was a bit nervous with some of the reviews. However it was a lovely surprise to enjoy this hotel. Three things worth mentioning: 1. Staff are helpful, professional and nothing is too much trouble, they genuinely care. A special mention to the main restaurant staff, they went above and beyond. We had booked half board, but they suggested food that wasn’t on the menus, so helpful. The food quality was high and a great choice. If you fancy something not offered just ask. 2. Cleaning & maid staff, again the place was immaculate. Always asking if you need extra towels or if everything is okay. 3. Reception staff - helpful, attentive. For example they advised on a day trip to the mountains and arranged hire car, so no problems. The room sizes remind me of the five star rooms in the London hotels, so not overly big. But they do have a lovely chaise long on the balcony. I would say it’s more of a boutique style traditional five star hotel. We had a four-year old as well as a ten year old so I was a bit concerned that they would be bored. There is a kids pool area and they loved the food. They had a blast meeting children from other countries. Finally the location is great on the beach 🏖
