Kinney still feels like a dressed up concrete block, but has an awesome location close to the heart of Venice. Although it's not one of the spots right on the beach, those hotels are really resting on their laurels and don't operate correctly. Kinney staff are professional and actually do their jobs, you get less "crazies" and it is extremely clean especially for Venice standards. My only complaint is that the hours of the gym seem arbitrary when it could be open 24/7. Because I only stayed for one night and checked in late, I wasn't able to get a workout in.

The Kinney was a delight. The edgy style it shows amongst its decor is welcoming and the staff are attentive and happy to assist. The two rooms we booked were clean, well maintained and comfortable. Would absolutely stay in this area and at The Kinney again.

Very close to Los Angeles airport. All hotels in other airports are booked, so this is the only option. It's OK. The room is big and has a sofa bed. A family of three can stay here. The sewer smells a bit offensive. There is no breakfast. There is a Costco nearby.
