We stayed in a 3 bedroom house and chose this place specifically because it has a pool. The price seemed good based on advertised amenities. The Good: The was clean and was equipped with most of what you would need to cook, as well as starter toilet paper, paper towels, etc. (as advertised). As they state on their webpage, it’s a two star “resort”, so nothing fancy. The beds and furniture were comfy, excluding the broken dining room chair. The view was of the river and the marina, including a floating restaurant that they attempted to move but ended up sinking. The microwave didn’t work, and they promptly replaced it. The Bad: After checking in after a long ride on a hot day, we went to swim in the pool. It was covered in dead bugs, the sides of the pool were covered in a black growth. We got a net and started to skim off the bugs, but the net had a hole in it…then we realized that there were little black particles floating all in the water. The water wasn’t circulating even though the pump was running. Long story short, they were not able to get the pool clean, accused us of being the only ones who have complained this season ( we were told by a slip holder that he has heard tons of complaints, and he was going to sit by it but not get in). We were also told that “just this morning the health inspector gave them a 98/which we will verify and discuss with the health depar**ent when he calls us back) We were told several times that the place is a two star resort, not a five star. When we asked for a refund or an adjus**ent, the woman reiterated that it’s a two star “resort” and what we paid reflected that (counting taxes and cleaning we paid almost 1200.00 for 3 nights). And she said there are no refunds. Do not give these people your money. After a long ride we (my husband, 2 grands and I) went
